Producing music with samples is basically like making a collage: cutting a part from here, a part from there, ... rearranging and gluing the pieces together to obtain something new! I’ve been a couple of weeks late than what I wanted with this project, but here we are with the 3rd music release out of at least 12 that will come in the next two years! I always want to remark the main message behind this personal “challenge”: don’t let self-doubt limitate your free expression (I won’t get sick of repeating it until I will have learnt the lesson)! During this period I hope to learn how to “✨be the energy I want to attract✨” while getting better at making music! Music will keep be coming out on a regular basis but now on there will be no more promo on Instagram. Content addiction is damaging us in many ways: being constantly overfed by multiple stimuli is getting us mentally unsatiable and, oftentimes, we subconsciously end up comparing ourselves to socially “ideal” standards of lives and aesthetics that  lead us to frustration. Not all content is bad: direct and unfiltered sources of information (with all their pros and cons) seem to be essential while mainstream journalism is getting less reliable… I definitely think is important to open our eyes getting informed on global problems but a nice act of self-care would be to ask ourselves if being overexposed to sensitive content is an healthy habit. Ignorance is definitely not the solution for a better world but maybe there could be other options to get informed and spread awareness around ourselves in an healthier way : ) I don’t want this to feel judgmental for any type of posting we do on social media but just some nice food for thoughts to reflect on ; ) btw peace yall, hope you’re enjoying being yourselves (shine!) and I’ll take a long vacation out from SoMe!
