Tom (Tommy) van Deursen has been a touring musician for the past 15 years. Born in Vancouver BC on May 7th, 1989, raised in the tiny mountain town of Kaslo, and currently residing on Salt Spring Island. 

He puts on a deep feeling and warm show, not afraid to engage with a crowd and lean into experimentation within the confines of his songs. A little piano and keys, lots of Stratocaster and acoustic guitar, and a wide vocal range all get thrown into the air, with the thump of a kick drum to help with the foundations. Think James Blake in a boxing match with Jack White while the lads from Half Moon Run play a well-paced game of bocce ball outside. But the grass is tall. And a storm is coming.
