WINDOWS OF PERCEPTION

I begin where you take my compliance for naivety
and I wont  spend my life in your custody
You bread fear and make it your currency 

Your cursory judgments where never just 
That's why I will build you a home in a distant past
because that's where we are
and I'm glad about that

Windows of perception face the unknown
I must forget about the stairs an open the door
my home-made fears are now fully grown
so I must take a stroll into the unknown 

I know more than I can understand
intuition lends a helping hand

Piece triggered by events that have been happening for more than 2 years now. All this has been caused by atrocious act of men against innocent civilians followed by arrogant and criminal indifference from most European countries towards sheer suffering and despair experienced by those who fled the violence in Syria.

Note To Myself

Words where written in 2001 for my best mate Slav. Now 11 years latter they came back to form a core of vibrant and eclectic tune based on bass that might remind you of Jaco Pastorious. Played and recorded in my cuddly home setting, Counterpoint represents my own and personal take on widespread word: ALTERNATIVE.

Gentle but persuasive song praising resilience, patience and search of truth and above all      ...LOVE...drops of twinkling notes, mix and penetrate each other in complimenting journey.
Guitar was performed during worldwide GUITAR IDOL 2011 competition and took me to TOP 100 of best players. I hope there's more to come ...

Piece was recorded in 2010. It came to life as a improvisation. At that point i decided to spend a night with it...that is the result.enjoy;)
