"Pensieri Disgiunti Lost Tracks" completes the trilogy I created to honor my late father through his poetry, bringing this deeply personal musical journey to its final chapter. I took my father's written words—poems he crafted throughout his life—and transformed them into songs that blend blues with Italian cantautorato, creating what feels like an ongoing conversation between us across time. These aren't just musical adaptations of his poetry; they're genuine collaborations where his verses meet my melodies, allowing us to create art together even now. The "lost tracks" represent all those unfinished conversations and unspoken words that death interrupted, but through this music, I've found a way to keep that dialogue alive and preserve his voice for future generations. This final chapter fuses American blues traditions with Italian storytelling, creating a musical legacy that celebrates how creative spirit passes from father to son. While this trilogy concludes our posthumous collaboration, it establishes a lasting testament to the power of art to transcend mortality and keep family connections alive through music.
