If there is one thing that Satin Jackets can do, it’s making you feel good on the dance
floor. While the soulful, uplifting track “In This Life”already compels you to get get 
moving, Satin Jackets has managed to level up with this Cassara remix. Multi-
talented producer Chris Cassara had already proven what he is capable of with his 
previous remix of Satin Jackets’ “Never Enough.”
It’s well-known that Tim Bernhardt has mastered the recipe for elevating and soul-
stirring music, but having an extra chef in the kitchen can up the ante: Cassara knew
exactly how to add some extra spice to the second single released on Golden Hour. 
With a classic disco feeling and a pinch of “French Touch” on top, it conveys a 
certain courage - something that takes you to the next level on the dance floor. 
When Satin Jackets brings in the melody, Cassara knows how to raise the tempo 
without losing sight of its soulful vibe. The combination of a stomping bass, Nile-
Rodgers-like guitar licks and the right tempo, confirms that Cassara was the right 
choice stir in that special something to the already perfect sophomore single “In This 
Life”.

2013 it's been a great year for Georgia-based duo Rotkraft - bunch of successful releases on labels like Nurvous Records, Kumasi Music, SpaceWalker Recordings, Exotic Refreshment or legendary Kompakt just speaks for themselves. Now they returns to their home at Exotic Refreshment with new outstanding EP, this time in collaboration with very talented vocalist Saint Kitten.

Their newest song "Red Wine" it's quite a trip. Modern nu disco sounds, great work on synths and hypnotizing voice of Saint Kitten takes the listener to another dimension. We knew that we need equally massive remixes for this one, and that's why we invited well known upcoming stars to make the EP even more interesting. 

Click Click, a founder of Palms & Flamingos and a regular guest on well known imprints like Cajual Records, Smoke N' Mirrors, KATERMUKKE or Light My Fire, turned "Red Wine" into a real deep house monster. 

Klar & PF (Glam Jam Artists / Pole Jam Records) delivered a pure funk killer - just listen, these guys do the magic!

Jon Sine, who is known from his great releases on Suara, Get Physical Music or Kindisch, did what he does best and gave a complex, hypnotic, deep and dubby blend of house, deep house. progressive and acid sounds in one awesome track.

And last but not least, a great remix from Bufi. Very talented Mexican producer who stole our hearts with his remix of "Dream of Bombay" released last year on Chookie. This one will rock the dance floors for sure!

Just in time for summer comes JBAG's new single 'Through Blue' featuring the singer of Polish electronic band Kamp!

Following in the footsteps of last year’s mighty ‘Mogadisco’, 'Through Blue’ unfolds another sad yet happy melody albeit locked into a slick, pulsing groove. Topped by the boyish vocals of Tomek Szpaderski - he who with his two Kamp! accomplices is soon putting Poland on the map with inspired indie-dance – 'Through Blue’ takes a meaningful turn bringing extra depth to an already endearing, emotive backing track led by nostalgic steel drums and pianos.

Bringing a new dimension to deejaying, the London-based Franco-Italian duo comprising of Jerry Bouthier (dj/sound-designer, longtime Kitsuné collaborator) and Andrea Gorgerino (the pair's studio/musician virtuoso) is now performing live dj sets as a unit with Andrea playing live keytar over JBAG's own productions and other faves mixed by Jerry.

For nearly two decades now Norway has been synonymous with disco music, artists such as Lindstrøm, Prins Thomas and Todd Terje redefining the genre.  Now, following in their footsteps, a new generation are breaking through and Even Hymer Gillebo, aka Cavego, has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting with acclaimed singles on labels such as Youth Control and Get Dancy and remixes for nu-disco stars like Satin Jackets and Blende.

Now signed to renowned Belgian label Eskimo Recordings, home to two seminal albums by Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas, Cavego is set to solidify his reputation with his debut EP, the sparkling and playful ‘Gudbrandsdalen’. Named after the famous Gudbrandsdalen Valley, an iconic location in Norwegian literature and culture and where Cavego’s family have long kept a cabin, the EP’s genesis began last spring when he returned to the place he spent his formative years to collect the sounds of running creeks, birdsong, the wind in the grass and create music based on his childhood experiences.

With his collection of vintage synthesizers, carefully, relocated out to the remote cabin, these field recordings would go on to become the basis for the EP.  Adopting a darker tone, ‘Vertikal Vind’ sees Cavego create a musical soundtrack for the long night drive back from his cabin. The resulting music has a hypnotic, dreamlike feel that perfectly captures the otherworldly, frozen landscape, the snowflakes whipping off the metres-high snowbanks on either side of the road illuminated in the headlights like thousands of tiny stars.

Tomode is a Swedish disco duo consisting of Stockholm natives and childhood friends Carl Leandersson and Viktor Westerberg.

After a sold out gig in Paris at cult venue La Boule Noire alongside French duo Charlotte Fever, Tomode is now releasing their new single ’Bar Phantasmique’ on March 24. It’s the last single from their upcoming EP ’Riviera’ which is out on April 14 on Riptide Records.
