With an innate ability to combine 80s & 90s music with modern melodies & danceable beats, Berlin-based producer and DJ LOVRA is fast on her way to becoming one of the stand-out new names of 2021. Her work has featured on some of the world’s top labels - Let There Be House, Armada, Get Twisted, Kontor Records & Don Diablo’s Hexagon Records, before signing exclusively to Sony Music Germany. It’s not just in the studio where LOVRA has been making waves; the rising talent soon found herself on the radar of none other than David Guetta.

Zonderling is taking over the Tomorrowland Friendship Mix! Roughly translated, zonderling means eccentric, to behave differently from the rest. This is exactly what Martijn van Sonderen, a producer with a mind of his own, and Jaap de Vries, a DJ who isn’t afraid to take a musical risk more than once, do. 

They have created their own version of current dance music. Freaky sounds by a headstrong duo working on musical impulses, leading to a couple of striking releases with a character of their own.

Zone Radio S04E05

The Pressure is an enigmatic electronic band from London with a solid melodic core. Their sound is deeply influenced by rave culture and performance dance acts such as Underworld and Depeche Mode. With the support of Pete Tong on Radio 1 for multiple remixes and singles, the duo further worked their way into the rave scene. In 2020 the duo self-released two tracks—’ Ride’ and ‘Planes’—which showcased various production techniques reminiscent of the Bristol-era of UK electronica. In 2021, they debuted on Undisputed Music with ‘Saturday Night’. This distinctive dance cut sat somewhere between deep house and crossover electronica and has clocked up more than a million streams across all platforms to date.

The Future 4 - The Pressure

Anamē is a Swedish production duo made up of Marcus Schossöw (also known as gardenstate) and Thomas Sagstad. Their friendship emerged from the wave of underground house music that hit Scandinavia in the early 2000s. The duo early on released multiple genre-crossing collaborations on legendary Global Underground and Ministry Of Sound before embarking on their solo careers. Their solo careers have taken them worldwide, working with celebrated artists like Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Kaskade, Dirty Vegas, and touring the continents for almost two decades. Throughout their careers, the guys stayed best friends - working with each other both on stage and behind the scene.

For Brisbane-based Harry Hope, better known as Odd Mob, there are no limits in sight as he goes from strength to strength with every innovative production. Odd Mob broke through with the ubiquitous 2014 track ‘Is It A Banger’, a track that resonated with Australian listeners, charting in triple j’s ‘Hottest 100’ and has since amassed over 7 million streams across platforms. The boundary-pushing producer showed no signs of slowing down, subsequently releasing tracks ‘Intrinsic’, and ‘Lithium’, which saw Odd Mob surpass well over 20 million streams across platforms.

Odd Mob’s latest hit ‘LEFT TO RIGHT’ is a huge leap into the spotlight with a slew of early AAA tastemaker support from the likes of Dom Dolla, Disclosure, Diplo, Chris Lake, ACRAZE, and John Summit, to name a few, all showcasing this record in their sets in the past few months, resulting in an online treasure hunt from fans to find the record. The song is based around portions of the Soulja Boy cult classic ‘Crank That’ which has had the blessing and sign-off from Soulja Boy himself.

The Future 4 - Odd Mob

Michael Thivaios, also known as Like Mike, surprised fans with his solo project in 2021: the release of his album, Pain, Love, & What Comes After, showcasing Mike's feel for urban music. Last week, he released a brand-new dark, brooding progressive tune with the French duo Kimotion, 'Feel You Close', that features singer Angie Robba. Reason enough to invite him for this week's Tomorrowland Friendship Mix.
