LT Synthesis - Bien Benido (DJigsaw vs TomPad)


TomPad alias Thomas Bauer was born in 1974 near Munich and was captivated by music very early. At the age of 12 years he began to play keyboards and percussion instruments and just a few years later after getting his first Commodore computer well known as the C 64 he was infected by the 8bit sound of artist like Chris Hülsbeck or Maniacs of Noise.
 At the age of 19 he gets in first contact with commercial electronic music in clubs around munich like Babalu, Ultraschall and much more. The vibe and energy of this kind of music as much as those masterminds like Sven Väth, Resistance D, Hardfloor and a lot more did the rest to get in love with electronic beats and synthesizers. Later on he started DJing for his own and just after a few months he played the first time in a small club in munich. Soon he realized that spinning vinyl and collecting records is not enough to get out all his creativity and he began to produce music on a Commodore Amiga Computer and just one well known synthesizer called Yamaha DX7.
After a long break according to personal events he started again producing music back in 1998 on Propellerheads Rebirth and later with Reason. After a time of experimental experiences he recognized that the quality of sounding in reason is a bit limited and he changed his recording software to Cubase and is now producing with Ableton Live, plugins and a little hardware. After a long time producing just for fun he thought that he wants to spread his creativity to the world of music lovers and hopefully he can reach people with his definition of electronic music.
