Hailing from Cologne, Hans Schaaf first release as Honesty was in 1995 via Space Teddy Recordings.

Since then Schaaf moved to Berlin, performing as part of an improv-jazz band named Gelee Royale, as well as focusing on producing club music under various monikers. Schaff’s best-known pseudonyms, such as Honesty, Honeydrop and a duo named Slope alongside Cabinet founder Daniel Paul, have collectively released on the likes of Room With A View, Cabinet and Sonar Kollektiv.

Burnski is by no means the fresh faced new comer he looks. Despite still being relatively young, he has actually been toiling away, building up an enviable discography and laying down fierce DJ sets for a whole decade and a half. Right from the off he began making a big impact with early releases and has continued to quietly but competently build up momentum ever since. The upshot of this is that he is now at the point where he is a mainstay on the underground scene around Europe and beyond.

As a DJ, Burnski aims to mix the old with the new, is still a passionate vinyl hoarder and spends plenty of time digging deep for sounds and styles a mile away from the ordinary: if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to boast regular gigs at places like DC10 in Ibiza, Fabric in London, Rex Club in Paris and Watergate in Berlin, all of which find him weaving together tracks that make you want to dance as well as making you feel something deep down inside.

In the wake of early, standout career hits, Burnski is now crafting darker, more stripped back and rawer output. Today, we premiere Burnski's hypnotic interpretation of DJ Honesty's 'Schillerkiez', featuring a low-slung groove and added vocal to the already infectious synth hook.

Hottrax hosts Italian producer Aiuko’s debut release ‘Culture’, featuring two rhythmic club cuts. 

One half of White Brothers alongside his brother, Francesco Bianco has released on high calibre labels like Little Helpers, Moan and Deeperfect, as well as performed across Europe including Spain, Slovenia, Sicily and the UK. Under his new solo moniker Aiuko he now joins Hottrax, following appearances by POPOF, 9th House, Max Chapman and Jamie Jones himself. 

‘Culture’ combines oscillating frequencies with an acid tinged bass groove, crispy percussion and swaying synths. Finishing, ‘Choke’ explores the inkier side of house with a mystical sound palette, white noise effects and clashing keys.

Next up we welcome Christian Bistany with his All Night EP. 
Christian has built up an impressive resumé so far this year and has successfully developed a signature sound. His Musica EP with James Wyler on Rawsome Deep landed a #2 spot in the Beatport Minimal/Deep Tech Releases chart in its first week. We are very excited to welcome Christian to the crew.

All 3 tracks from the EP are a straight up minimal feel for those late night sessions.
All Night has a hypnotic vibe with a heavy rolling sub sprinkled with some moody stabs with a classic jazz vocal to bring the track together.

Nice People has a very similar feel, dark heavy subs and moody stabs to keep those feet 2 stepping into the early hours.

Finally, we welcome James Wyler to the roster. James has been making great strides in the Minimal scene with a number of charting releases. His remix really ties this whole EP together putting his own twist to the original A side.
