Venezuela's Confidential Recipe returns to Rekids Special Project with a strong seven-track Techno EP.

Carlos Siu has been making jacked-up beats for over a decade, combining rave, techno, electro and breaks to perfection under his Confidential Recipe alias. To date, all six of his EPs on Rekids’ techno-focussed Rekids Special Projects offer a subtle evolution of the last and are always at the cutting edge of potent dance floor rhythms. On his latest offering, ‘Rave Generator EP’,

Confidential Recipe offers up his most accomplished works, featuring collaborations with Dagga and ELO. The searing title cut 'Rave Generator' opens up with edgy stabs and fiery vocal cries before the powerful low-end kicks in. 'U Can't Hide', a collab with Dagga, is full of raw texture and propulsive kicks. 'TUUL2' is a more stripped-back rhythm with ice-cold drums and hits rocking back and forth beneath a hypnotising spoken word vocal.

After the wild, cosmic synth lines and slamming drum sounds of 'Minimalz' come the freaky and unsettling synth sequences of 'LAB01', locking the listener in a state of paranoia and high-speed machine funk. Elo then joins Confidential Recipe for the unhinged synth madness and stomping techno of 'Everyday' before 'Once Again' locks you into a crisp and snappy techno groove with wonky leads and chopped vocal stabs.

Story of the Moon is a superb production of new sounds blended with sheer crowd pleasureless. One of them explosive tracks that ignites the floor.

Yigitoglu uses dark and progressive sounds to open doors into the hearts of his audience. Seasoned in Istanbul’s vibrant scene, he released his first single ‘6 am’ on 1103 Musik Berlin in 2018. Following ‘6am’, ‘Hubble’ was released on Yin Yang Records and was featured on “Yin Yang Anthems 16” later attracting support from Joseph Capriati, Cristian Varela, Luigi Madonna, Paco Osuna, Akira Kayosa
among other household names. His first EP ‘Circle of Sin’ raised to #5 on the Beatport Top100 techno releases and #25 on the overall chart above works from the likes of Hidden Empire, Deborah De Luca and Pleasurekraft. 

He is now working on numerous projects towards establishing his own musical identity in the techno scene.

Amsterdam’s @twr72 joins AEPOБИК to release three galvanizing techno cuts entitled ‘X-Static’.

TWR72 has fashioned a forward-thinking approach towards electronic music, fusing wavering rhythms with a sharp, signature groove. TWR72 established his Float Records imprint in 2014 which acts as a home for many of his productions, in addition to supporting both new and renowned artists such as Sleeparchive, Mike Parker, Hemka, Dold and many more. ‘X-Static’ sees TWR72 join the AEPOБИК imprint following releases from Erhalder and label founder Aux Couture that picked up support from the likes of Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Len Faki, and Luke Slater to name a few.

‘X-Static’ is made in appreciation of the 90’s rave culture with TWR72 naming the tracks after rave parties from that era. ‘X-Static’ begins proceedings with weaving synth flutters, sharp percussion and effervescent modulations combining to create with ecstatic opener before ‘Fantazia’ delivers shattering kicks and highs balanced neatly with driving oscillations and undulating toughness.

‘Pulsation’ then rounds things off with pulsating drums, reverberating low-end and otherworldly melodic patterns fusing to devise an ethereal atmosphere to finish.
