One Last Drive

"I wrote this song last summer, in the depths of the first lockdown in the UK. We’d been graced with amazing weather for months and fortunately for me, I live really close to the sea, so I’d been walking and surfing a lot. Sadly, I soon started to feel like I was at war with plastic at my local beach. It broke my heart to see the constant stream of plastic floating down the Bristol Channel."

"So, I guess I was feeling helpless when I wrote this song and I wanted to do something about it. Naturally, picking up as much litter as possible was a key part of that but I also hoped to inspire people by shining light on the issue. If I can convince just one more person to think twice about throwing plastic into our oceans and rivers or to take some discarded litter home to recycle, I'll feel like it's spread its message and I will have achieved what I set out to do."
