It's nice if you like the genre, and the point of a cover is to make it "your own" but it lacks the bounce that the original has.  Plus, I can't see this being played at Wembley.

This started off as a 5.1 remix and was converted to stereo. It sounds awesome in 5.1. Michael Floyd came up with the initial idea for the remix and then we worked together on it. I got hold of the files for the original version of the song from Robert Smith because we briefly discussed doing a 5.1 remix version of the albums Disintegration and Wish. However the 5.1 format never really took off for music in a big way which is a great shame because it's awesome to mix in surround and the system in my studio sounds amazing. I have a SACD (Super Audio CD) 5.1 version of Dark Side Of The Moon which is glorious to listen to.

Here's a SPRMX of the INXS cover we did a while back for the ever brilliant 'Late Night Tales' series. Which...Ehem!.. you can still buy on iTunes featuring the likes of Captain Beefheart, Terry Callier, Holy Ghost,King Biscuit Time and many more. The difficulty with this one was,  GL recorded the guitar and vocal onto one track on Garage Band (High Tech? I know, I know) so it was always hard to wander from the path. Anyway enjoy x
