A lot of people ask me about my musical style. I understand it can be a bit confusing as I play different styles at different parties. I discovered house music and my love for the dance floor in the 90's when dj's like Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia were resident dj's who played all night long. They took you on a journey from deep house like Ron Trent and Chez Damier, into house from MK and Cajmere, darker sounds from DJ Pierre and Xpress-2, and into big room anthems from Deborah Cox and Kristine W. All from one dj in one night. And my musical tastes have a similar range, but these days resident dj's have been replaced by guest dj's who play shorter sets and tend to stick more closely to one sound. What I try to do is bring the light and shade and range of my tastes to the party I'm playing. For Alegria- my job is to keep up the high energy joyful sound it's known for, while bringing my own style in and not just repeating what the previous dj's have done. I always take into account the style of the party and work within the boundaries I find as I play. In this mix you'll find my usual big room Alegria sound, as well as some house music, techno, vocals, beats, melodies, and always classics! Teasing tracks, building themes and creating drama. Oh yeah and that damn siren! Well again, clubs like Sound Factory or Pacha NYC used to have sirens in the club. You turned the siren on to make a peak moment even more exciting. I've carried that over with a sample of a classic house music siren. Enough talking. I hope you enjoy the mix. It was a lot of fun to be there!!

Inspiration struck again, so no waiting one month this time :P
Listening to  @adambeyer  's set at Kappa Future Festival, the 1st track he played reminded me a lot of  @Meduzamusic 's "Upside Down" tune, a bit punchier though. Referring to  @artbatmusic 's new BANGER "Galaxy". What a powerful track !!!
So initially my thought was to make an "angrier" version of Upside Down, but then whil doing it, I somehow thought that it might be a better fit for  @edsheeran 's "Bad Habits".
And so this reboot was born.
