The crate was well a truly dug for this episode.  We’re taking a trip down the minimal memory lane going back to the mid Noughties, a time when the minimal sound was ruling the underground.  As with most things ‘Minimal’, there’s genius in the simplicity and that’s definitely captured in all of these tracks.

For first time listeners, the minimal sound will certainly be a new experience and for those that followed it before, this will bring back some fond memories.

Great new music from Monkey Safari, Franky Rizzardo, Pascal FEOS, Mele and Kormak.  The hugely popular Deep End by John Summit and an absolutely wicked re-work of Touch Me by Rui Da Silva & PAX to wrap things up.  This mix is definitely the sound of today paying homage to classics that preceded.

Molten Chimes creates deep concentration into nostalgia, the sounds and desires all swirling alongside the distorted chimes of an ice cream van lulling us towards the positives.  Mangled vocals are overlaid with instrumentation rather than this be a ‘sung’ track or precise meaning behind vocal and melody, on purpose it needs to be listened to.  It perhaps confuses, annoys, or delights.
