For the first cut in this project Recut dusts off his shelves and diggs deep into his collection to Re-Edit forgotten warehouse banger 'It's All In Your Mind', he effortlessly refreshes and transports this gem into 2022. Next up 'House Intensity' does exactly what it says on the tin with its warm and percussive bassline & hypnotic arpeggios which will take you to a cosmic dimension. 'Disco Chicago' is the track that gives the project its name, it has an ensemble of drum sounds from the 808 and 303 to create this authentic Acid House gem that will fill any dancefloor. The mysterious Henk Donkers conjures up the 69th release on WOLF Music. No-one knows where the promo came from, a Dropbox link landing in the WOLF HQ inbox labelled, ‘With love, Henk Donkers x’. Crack the vault to find some slick, sultry, steamed up window biz from this mystery entity, ranging from a soulful 2-step burner featuring vocalist, Ell Murphy (we’re still trying to track Ell down to shed some much-needed light on this conundrum), to an acid-tinged melon twister on the A side. On the B, Henk teases further with that red-light basement feeling, blending breakbeats with heartstring hitting sweetness, before closing it out with a spoken word, psychedelic trip.

Tom Trago – one of the leading lights of the Dutch electronic music underground, who defined the house and electronica sound of Amsterdam like few others. He is a globe-trotting DJ, producer, live performer and label owner who enjoys nothing more than championing both overlooked gems and fresh sounds from his own country. Tom Trago held residencies at renowned Amsterdam institutions Trouw and De School and name any prestigious festival or clubs worldwide – pretty sure he’s played there.
