Wanted to play a harder and more energetic set than the normal, and the crowd loved it so i made the right choice.

Under The Nest was an amazing small festival. Everything was set up so perfectly, the lights, stages and structures were amazing. The variety of music across all genres progressive through the day and the almost cheese platter like of each element of a doof were so well laid out to show the locals what it's all about. The creators and staff absolutely smashed this one. 
I had the honour of opening up the festival at the chai tent in the morning and closing it down on the main stage doing a B2B with my dear friend

This set itself was very special to me, the year before I had played at burning seed festival also, a couple of very nervous, very planned out sets, with a lot of bad mixes. 
I had an entire 12 months retrospective leading up to this one to see how far i had come, I decided to push myself and not plan anything. 
Just chuck everything in one playlist and see where it took me in the moment. 

I only had a few goals in mind:
1. Open with Reeves by Superflu. Been waiting to play that since Rainbow Serpent 2014. Which i did, faded out the previous artist to set the mood.
2. End on Lamur Henry Saiz Guy J remix, a track that since 2009 i have been wanting to play.
3. Overdub some songs with acapellas of Reggie Watts my personal Favorite human and musical wizard.
I had secretly planned to get the VG artist Laura Simanonok (Absolute legend check her out) to project visuals of this man, my idol onto the tree line during the set - and I can now tick off two things on my bucket list having projected out this mans soundwaves while his afro is also projected visually next to the audience!

Just wow. What an amazing, soul-enriching experience burning seed is.  I don't have the words to describe the difference this gem has with other festivals or to explain the special place it holds in my heart, just do yourself a favor and make sure you go one year. 

Bit of a clash with Sunset Island that night, so as it started quiet and early I used the time to experiment with a unique mixer/controller setup utilizing 4 channels and 2 mixers, learnt some fun new tricks.  Then I played some of my all-time favourite groovers to set the evening mood nicely for my peli fam. I did have a recording issue near the end, so I 've taken the liberty to add an additional ending song when I was touching it up.

Shout outs to a few amazing humans.  
Luke Vecchio, Henry Fosters, Jim Somersault - Your tunes put a smile on my face so I hope they do the same for others listening to this set. 
Lebruh for making the magic happen, Clare my soul sister for her support, Heath Corke for being another Funk addict and an all-round amazing human, Brownbear for his guidance, Mc Culkin for getting me up to the site while putting up with 2 x 6 hour drives of my company and 11 days together, and lastly to Georgia my love for keeping my self worth in check  - the final song is for you <3
