Victor Ruiz's label VOLTA serves up a fantastic EP, this time with Balthazar & JackRock behind the three original tunes. This DJ and producer duo have made a real impact with their tunes on the likes of Drumcode, Terminal M, Plus 8 and Filth on Acid and do so again here. Solar Deity opens up with grading bass and the sort of raw techno drums that make a whole warehouse march. There is real tension in the synths and a vocal brings the soul. Princess of the Sun is another hard edge banger with synths that sound as if they have been fired from a machine gun. They light up the sky and will get hands in the air. Last of all is Vibrant, another powerful track, this time with loopy and heady synths that will boggle the brain as the glitchy percussion rides on. An epic breakdown features cosmic keys raining down from above before the drop blows the roof off.

Carl Cox and Jon Rundell announce the three track EP "Jump Around" from the New York-based Russian producer Boris, which is the 148th edition of their prestigious label Intec Digital. In addition to releasing for big techno labels like Tronic, Toolroom, Suara, SCI + TEC, Phobic and Terminal M, Boris also published under his Transmit Recordings simultaneously establishing himself as an interesting techno producer and DJ with bookings from Japan to Ibiza.

Klubikon premieres the title track "Jump Around", a fusion of liquid percussions and vocal phrase mantra. Enriched by tribal rhythms and enhanced by the White Island’s club vibe, this track is made for the parts of the evening when the podium has the desire to physically express its massive dance energy.

Tom Wax has always been a leading figure of the electronic music scene in Germany since 1988 and inspired a lot of DJs and producers around the globe with his unique sound between House & Techno. Even after more than 30 years behind the DJ booth he is still on a mission and prooves this in impressive manner on such labels like Toolroom, Filth On Acid, CR2, Gain Records, FeChrome, Bush Records, Dolma Records, Suara, Great Stuff, Technoclub Records, Stereo 3000, Armada Deep, Deeperfect, WePlay, Kontor, Plastic City or his own Phuture Wax imprint.
In the early 90ies Tom Wax created electronic-music history with his projects Arpeggiators,Microbots or DJ Tom & Norman and the today classic tunes „Cosmic Evolution“, „Freedom Of Expression“ or „Tales Of Mystery“ on such labels like R&S Records, Harthouse Frankfurt or Overdrive Records. With his project AWeX together with Thorsten Adler and the Über-track „It ́s Our Future“ on the legendary Plastic City imprint he had his international breakthrough in 1995 and since 2000 he concentrates on his Tom Wax artist project.
Cooperations with CJ Bolland, Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dearborn,Michael Wells (GTO),Terry Lee Brown Jr.,The Timewriter, AKA AKA,Kai Tracid, ASYS, Mijk van Dijk, Dr. Motte, Marusha, Talla 2XLC,Roy Stroebel (Strobe), Gotlucky, Boris Alexander,Ian Oliver, Dan Hillson, Simon Fava, JamX & DeLeon, Alex Stadler or Franksen as well as remixes for artists like Yello,Erasure,Jam & Spoon, Hardfloor, Sparks,Cosmic Baby,Mesh or John Starlight fill his multi page discography with over 500 releases and remixes.
Next to his DJ gigs around the globe Tom hosted his own radio-show since 2004. First on German radio station YOU FM, where he is one oft he resident DJ oft he legendary Cubnight show as well,from 2010 to 2012 he presented his show Phuture Sounds on the online radio Big City Beats FM.
