info:  🇺🇸ENG: We present to your attention the 69th release from Bassmatic Records! After a break with new creative forces, our residents - Touch The Sound - are returning to us with two powerful atmospheric works.
The first track recorded with Balinese producer Mousa is named after the ancient Greek goddess Athena - the goddess of wisdom and craft, but most of all she is known as the goddess of war! The title track describes the beauty and art of battle, drawing pictures of past battles in my head.
The co-main track is called Barsoom. This is the name of the planet Mars in the fantasy world created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The drum and percussion parts take the listener to a truly different planet for an exciting journey from the first to the last second of the composition. Have a good trip, friends!

Now on Volume 4, this various artists series is our channel for showcasing the diversity of the label, introducing new artists to the world and celebrating our existing family members here on Planet TAU. 

As always, you can expect the unexpected - an eclectic range of releases that all represent the retro futurism at the core of our label’s sonic identity. Across 16 tracks you’ll be immersed in the world of TAU, so prepare to enter a whole new dimension of sound. 

This is Spektrum 4... another mega compilation of TAU flavours from an international line up of super talented artists. 2023 sees BOg's @atlantofc Atlant get off to a fast paced start courtesy of the immensely talented @fredlenix. Here the Brazilian born Turkey based producer delivers three powerful originals filled with the type of brain- melting production that has graced Ellum, Truesoul, Elevate and (of course) Atlant.

First out of the blocks is title cut 'With You In The Dark' which has everything a DJ could possibly wish for in a track. The minor key, crisp beats and infectious groove immediately seize your attention before a clever breakdown sets the perfect moment for Alina Efimova's vocal to enter. All conversations in the club stop as everyone gets locked into the music. From here sub-bass pulse rays, gorgeous synths and celestial chords do the rest while allowing Alina's captivating tones to shine.

'Proxima' takes you further into Fred Lenix's mind with rising keys, edgy atmospherics and ominous 4/4 beats creating dramatic tension. Soothing analogue sounds offer a brief respite before jagged razor sharp arps take over. Please handle this one with extreme care.

'Fire Starter' closes ATL070 by simmering away with ferocious dance- floor intensity and energy. The dark cavernous sounds represent sonic alchemy of the highest level. Guaranteed to give any club sound system the sternest of tests - we should probably add a disclaimer.

If you ask Avratz about his recent EP’s he would say that before you’re a DJ you need to be a dancer, only then can you understand the dancefloor. Like driving a race car with a shaking gearbox, knowing that with every sharp turn you take the floor and the people turn with you.

Famous for his ethnic-electronic Madboojah Project (2008), creating one of Israel’s most successful electronic productions ever, and performing in Israel’s biggest clubs such as the Block, the Forum, Club Q and the Grounded festival, while under his DJ name Avratz, he is one of Israel’s leading DJs and one of the few who have been invited to play abroad in Ibiza, Boom Festival and the Netherlands.

This ep will take you from deeper space through Middle East with two monster melodic tracks, that fuse local Israeli flavours with throbbing synth lines, encapsulating an anthemic sound for the Globe to enjoy.

The title track 'Hafla Galactic' is a peak time melodious affair, with energy and a unique flair, fusing local music flavours, with a throbbing underpinning that makes this rock!

While the mystical sounding 'Road to Taba' locks you in to its mystical spell, as it meanders and filters from dirty synth lines to acoustic and mesmerising licks, all while packing a punch.

Fletcher Kerr returns to Toolroom in collaboration with Trax comrade 2CD and their latest club heater ‘Don’t Stop’. Scottish DJ/Producer Fletcher Kerr is an artist on the ascent as he’s risen through the ranks as one of the standout graduates of the renowned Toolroom Academy who has been marked as a tip for the top this 2023.

Sitting alongside Fletcher with ‘Don’t Stop’ is newcomer and production extraordinaire 2CD who made their debut with ‘Chatterbox’ on the imprint earlier this year, which received global support from Miane, Mark Knight, Ferreck Dawn and Leftwing : Kody.

Bridging the gap between Techno and Tech House ‘Don’t Stop’ is set to light the dancefloor ablaze.

2nd release on Noir Music comes from the collaboration of Florian Kruse & Hendrik Burkhard, and this time for a more dance floor functional effort by the guys. The two Germans went on a “let's make some music out in no-mans land” get- away to the north of Denmark without internet interruptions and sat down for a week to create music that has now been signed to Poker Flat, Green and this one on Noir Music. We're premiering the original mix of "We Own The Night".

Allan Shotter’s second EP on 2DIY4 tells his very personal story of that excruciating question that reads “What if I had been more present? Could I have contributed to stopping this?”

A harrowing feeling that came to him after the recent passing of his mother, who has been through a long, arduous, but ultimately unsuccessful chemo therapy cancer treatment. During these strenuous months, producing music was his place of refuge; a sanctuary to receive his manifold emotions. 

And this diversity in feelings is what you can hear on “Das Gift”. Being overwhelmed. Feeling powerless. Drowning in uncertainty. Anger. Sadness. Being forced to wait. Hope. Hopelessness. Four tracks of raw honesty.

“Tuk Tuk” is the third single from the album "Nobody Is Not Loved", that is now being released.

It is a highly energetic track that swerves across genres, first and foremost through the powerfulness of the extraordinary voice of Inez, singer of the German band ÄTNA. Her strong attitude stands above it all: "I'm the boss!"

The music video is a parable for the main idea behind the album title: The invisible protagonist of the video is the music, embodied by Inez. And she really has to fight. Throughout history, music has been misused, attacked or entirely forbidden – but until now has always prevailed. And once again in this case!

Because only music has the power to overcome everything - and to unite everyone in the end.
