We decided if we're gonna to do this, we're gonna to do it properly. Heavyweight 180g black wax, full artwork, Ten Eight Seven masters + lacs, Optimal press. 

We've been in love with Ash's music since day one whilst he's been quietly killing it in the underground. Coming in with heavy dub pedigree Ash's sound taps the veins of Soul, Jazz and Funk, fusing them into a suspicious Trip Hop tapestry. Both tracks feature the killer horn work of Yazz Ahmed, one of the freshest artists to rupture the Jazz world with her psychedelic arabic rhythms. And RUDEBWOY visuals come courtesy of Sophie Bass, the dopest illustrator in the UK right now. 

3ft Above // 

One for the heads. 

"3ft above was inspired by Ezra: he made a sketch originally that i reworked into my own vibe, removed layers and then added in drums, bass etc until i ended up with what it was.... then Yazz truly finessed it..... lots of space echo used". 

Bagger // 

An opiate laden dancefloor stomper. Big Fishtank Funk. 

"Bagger was originally made at my old studio in crouch end, and was inspired by the greek/turkish food i was eating at the time in the area.... I played it with Charlie at home, decided that it would sound great with Yazz on, and pulled the trigger.... the Bagger was born". 

Also, a slice of each record goes to the anti sweatshop activist organisation 'No Sweat' - fighting for workers rights worldwide.

“When I came up with the song I was thinking about what it means to “be yourself”. Is it just a collection of thoughts, decisions and values that you decided to stick with and let them represent you as a person? ‘No Paradise’ reflects on how we chase our goals to maybe never reach the feeling of accomplishment, at least that’s how I feel sometimes. I haven’t released an instrumental-driven track like “No Paradise” in quite sometime so it feels liberating to be able to release something experimental like to contrast some of the vocal driven songs that people know me for” - Taska Black
