飾り気を削ぎ落とし、オーバーダブ、取り直しを一切 無しで録音された一枚。NY在住ながらあえて日本人らしいサウンドにこだわりを持ち続けるギタリスト 阿部大輔と、ベーシスト津川久里子と共に完成され たデュオアルバム。
童謡、オリジナル曲の両方が収録され、二人が鳴らすその一音一音が見事に情景を映しだし、とてもシンプルながらもNYジャズと日本の情景を同時に味わうことができる作品集に仕上がっている。
全編アコースティックなサウンドで統一されており、阿部大輔のナイロン弦ギターとアコースティックギ ターもこのアルバムの聴きどころである。
