Based in Washington, DC, USA, TonalTheory is a self-taught duo producer/DJ who brings their modern take on the fusion of powerful, high-energy techno soundscapes and percussions. Lending an homage to their classical backgrounds, their versatility and vision captivate audiences of all genres of music.

With numerous local and international releases, the duo launched their own label, Undertone, in 2021. Undertone embodies their signature high-energy techno sound while bending genre boundaries and hopes to serve as a platform for like-minded producers to showcase their artistry. Recent releases from Undertone have generated support from multiple industry-leading producers. 

Their time in the studio producing cutting-edge and forward-thinking techno has earned them a place in some of the industry’s notable labels/catalogs, including You Know Who I Am EP on Das Kollektive, What Were You Thinking? EP on Divine Intervention Records, Confidential Movement EP on Say What? Records, Avoid The Light EP on SINDEX, Obscure Horizon EP on Ōtomo, and many other single releases on labels such as SUBSTANTIV, T Sessions, GRF Black, Rated Records, and many more.
