JVXTA popped up on our radar this year with some tasty morcels on Clipp.Art, Homage and his own imprint Hardmatter. Now he's joining up with the Lobster Theremin guys with a beaut of an EP on their Distant Hawaii sub-label. Little do we know about Moondance, in fact when these tracks just showed up in the inbox one day, we said ”Moon who?

All we got was a link to a dropbox folder with tracks signed Moondance. One thing is for sure though, the music we got sent speaks volumes and that is why we didn’t hesitate twice when we decided to sign all of them. First up is "Never Found Love".  

Never Found Love comes in two different shapes. While the original is a colourful, rich, and jazzy piano driven house track with a vocal to tie it all together.

Slightly Transformed bring us a five-tracker from Paul Older, an Italian producer whose work has also appeared on Hot Digits, Masterworks, Furious Mandrill, Tropical Disco and other labels. The man from Padova's dug admirably deep, so while all five tracks are re-edits we won't concern ourselves too much as regards source material: suffice to say that if your floor moves to original 70s-style disco (as opposed to its contemporary, more electronic variants) then any of the five tracks here will do the job nicely, with special mention going to 'Hot Deb' - AKA Debbie Jacobs' 1979 nugget 'Hot Hot' - which has pyeow-pyeow-pyeow! stabs to die for.
