She believes in creating intentional community spaces on the dancefloor as sites for collective healing, empowerment, and release. Her sonic profile centers Afro-Caribbean and Afro-diasporic sounds that draw from her Panamanian heritage, upbringing in Texas, and curiosity to explore Black diasporic connections in music. She is the founder of "Tumbao HTX," a digital archive, record label, and event production platform celebrating Afro-diasporic sounds from Latin American and beyond. Under Tumbao, she co-hosts “La Jungla,” a femme, queer, and music forward tropical dance experience with DJ Yanna in Houston. She was featured in Boiler Room’s Cumbia Showcase in Houston in October 2022 and is set to release her debut remix EP “Algo Más Allá” this summer.
