Fake Authority

Hello everyone!

So with this track, I wanted to completely rework Antidote. After sleeping on it for awhile, I felt it lacked the sweetness that I was looking for when composing a track for Bentley, my super amazing pup. He has been such a great part of my life that I wanted to do the track properly. I started from scratch and completely rebuilt the instrumental so that I do my handsome boy justice when trying to express how sweet he is.

Hello my friends,

When creating this track, I wanted to establish the feel of someone that is searching for the love of their life. When we are in a relationship with someone, we hope that that person is our soul mate but most of the times its just a glimpse into what we are searching for because things fall apart for various reasons. This track is about that search and yearning to find that special someone.

With this track, I feel I've leveled up a bit when it comes to sound quality of a mix. I decided to take a more subtle approach with the sound design and honestly, I feel it paid off in spades.

And while everyone's clutching at their throats, 
the sultan's slipped a note.

It says look up you dumb thug. 
And he does. 
The killer plummets down, 
lunging at the guy with a knife plunging around,  
toppling the sultanate and sending his crown clattering to the ground.  
He retreats, mission complete. 
Disappears in a dervish,

Second Act:

A certain ebon assassin answering the call to arms from the rebel faction. 
Her whirlwind of death gains traction as she slips through their camp inactive.
Blacks out a lamp. 
Acts out a plan. Knives flick out fast. 
She kicks down a guard with a low sweep, 
nicks his neck mostly, 
hoping he'll go to sleep soon from the toxin. 
Drop a smoke bomb now everyone's coughing. 
Slashing and stumbling, 
a confused throng wondering what's wrong, 
too busy bumbling to notice their target's gone. 
In the chaos she'd sown, 
she killed twenty of their own. 
As for their leader? She left em alone. 
Demoralized men would mutiny soon enough tearing the skin from his bones.

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share my latest track with everyone. For Decisions, I wanted to build the world of someone who is struggling with inner thoughts about past experiences. As if taking a different approach would have changed the outcome to the situation. I know the there are times where I wonder how my life would have been if I had chosen differently.

For the actual sound of the song, I wanted to explore more of an organic feel while giving it a bit of groove. Just like Glimpses of You and Catharsis, I've been using more of a subtle touch when it comes to mastering so that all the tones sit better in the mix without fighting each other for center stage.

Whiteface Mountain is the 5th highest mountain in the state of New York, and one of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. The summit offers a 360-degree view of the Adirondack Park. On a clear day, the skyscrapers of Montreal Canada are viewable, at nearly 80 miles away. Whiteface was the main ski venue of the 1980 Winter Olympics, and is still a US Olympic training site to this day. Whiteface offers the largest vertical drop of any mountain, east of the Rockies.
