Inspired by jazz legends Dexter Gordon and Charlie Parker, this tune was written to depict a man trying to take in his surroundings as he runs across the the greenest pasture he has ever seen. The serene main theme is introduced by the mellow tone of the saxophones, capturing the moment of reminiscence. The trumpet later joins in their intertwining harmonies with a tranquil yet introverted melody before the main theme is further explored with a horn acapella. This section conveys the man’s jubilance as he remembers the taste of bliss and freedom, as the trumpet, which is no longer muted, leads the horns.
