Better known to his friends & family as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz, the Polish DJ/producer developed a fascination for music thanks to his father, discovering a wide range of artists & bands like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode & Kraftwerk to name a few. Working his way up through residencies & featured gigs in various parts of his country, as well as hosting many shows on worldwide radio stations, Cream became a recognisable name for his undeniable talent. A bigger spotlight started focusing on him ever since his productions became a global success, with releases on D-Nox's 'Sprout', Einmusika's 'EIN2', DJ Zombi's 'Beat Boutique' Bryan Wolfear's 'Strange Town' and more recently M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T and Booka Shade's influential 'Get Physical'. Boris himself describes his album as a captivating blend of familiar and nostalgic sounds, offering listeners a delightful journey through his artistic career. "Level One" encapsulates his entire musical journey, featuring a variety of songs that not only showcase his unmistakable style but also pay homage to his previous works.

The two new tracks, "Terminal Zero" and "Atlantis," are not only integral parts of Boris' set but also represent the fusion he aims to emphasize in his album. "Terminal Zero" reveals Boris's deep connection to high-tech minimal sounds beloved in clubs. The highlight of the year! After more than eight years, the time has finally come: Boris Brejcha, also known as the Joker, is releasing his 10th album on his own label, Fckng Serious.
Listeners and fans can look forward to a very special musical collection. The album, which will be released on all streaming and download services on April 19, 2024, includes a total of 17 tracks plus 3 long versions of the previously released edits.
Since 2022, Boris Brejcha has been releasing his music again on his own label, Fckng Serious. Already in 2023, Brejcha gave us a glimpse into the upcoming album. His singles "Level One," "Space X (Edit),“ „Vienna (Edit),“ and "Dimension" have already given us a taste of this diverse album. And even in the new year, there was a preview of the highlight of the year. Boris Brejcha received prominent support from singers Malena Narvay and Leony, among others.
It was very important to the Joker himself that the album provides a deep insight into his musical work: "My album promises to be a captivating blend of familiar and nostalgic sounds, offering listeners a delightful journey through my artistic career." "Level One" reflects my entire musical journey and encompasses a variety of songs that showcase my unmistakable style while simultaneously paying homage to my previous works.“ We at Fckng Serious are more than happy to be part of this masterpiece. Oliver Huntemann, a master craftsman of techno, brings his signature style to the mix—a style that's been honed in the vibrant city of Hamburg. Together, Huntemann and Romboy weave a tapestry of sound that's both dark and driving, yet melodic and introspective. Their new track, "Teufelsfisch," is a prime example of their synergy—a seven-minute journey of tension and release, where their combined skills forge an absolute weapon of a track.

As you dive into this mix, expect a journey through the depths of techno, where the duo's storied accomplishments and distinct styles converge to create something truly special. This is not just a set; it's a sonic exploration of what happens when two titans of techno join forces.

Ben Böhmer invites fellow German producers Boris Brejcha and Dominik Eulberg to remix ‘Breathing’, the title track from his acclaimed 2019 debut LP, following remixes of other album tracks by Gui Boratto, Tim Green and Volen Sentir.

Over his 15 year career Boris Brejcha has performed at the world’s leading festivals, including Tomorrowland, Timewarp and Exit, showcasing his vast catalogue of melodic techno. His dark, progressive remix take on the original shows why he has become one of Germany’s biggest electronic artists. 

Hailing from Westerwald, Dominik Eulberg has an equally remarkable history, with over 100 releases to date on labels such as Kompakt, Cocoon and the influential Traum where he has released three LPs. Known for his remixes of DJ Hell, Roman Flügel and Hot Chip, Dominik marks his first release on Anjunadeep with a textured rework of Ben’s original.

Tonelab is the music of Philip Rex, previously of Decoy, Rex'n'Chappo and IMPS. Philip started his musical life working in jazz clubs around Melbourne as a teenager, playing till 1am and then donning his school uniform early the next morning. This quickly blossomed into a professional career that has spanned decades and continents, as one of the most in-demand double bass players in Australia and beyond.

Throughout his teenage years Philip was also experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines, and this eventually led to the formation of Decoy, which sparked off a musical collaboration with Ian Chaplin that would last for 20 years. Together they have played at most major outdoor festivals in Australia and many across Europe, including Vuuv, Glade, Wonderland, Rainbow Serpent, Earthcore, Eclipse and Maitreya, and released albums and tracks on a host of labels throughout the world. 
 Tonelab draws on the experience of this long musical journey. Combining techno and house music with an unmistakable hint of outdoor psychedelia, Tonelab's all-original tunes display a passion for old analogue combined with modern digital instruments, and revel in a love of experimentation, improvisation, beautiful harmonic flavours and melodic textures, all underpinned by grooves that have clearly evolved from the soul of a bass player!   Tonelab’s debut EP was released on Open Records in February 2016, and generated very enthusiastic support from the likes of Kolsch, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, Kassey Voorn, Darin Epsilon, Sebastian Markiewicz and dozens more. It climbed to no.5 on the Beatport Progressive House release chart, and to no.11 on the Techno release chart. 

Since then Tonelab has had releases on Traum Schallplatten, Evil Flow (the 2nd label of Phobos Records), Electric Power Pole Records, Clubsonica Records Wulpack and Shadow Wulf Records, and has been playing live at local parties with Doesn’t Matter and BIG:RED:BUS crews.
