Rampalion is a musical band of roots rock reggae hailing from sunny Barcelona Spain and they are a real force of conscience autobiographical songs of love, fight & freedom.
The band are a collective made up of Juan Escribano the bands lead singer and songwriter who also contributes some of the instrumentation to the Rampalion recordings and Barcelona's famous reggae backing band Freedom Street Band who have provided a musical background in Spain for some of Jamaica's greatest artists: Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, Ken Boothe, Tippa Irie, Heptones, Bitty Mclean, Dr. Ring Ding, Hermano L, Morodo, Swan Fyahbwoy and Ben Jammin' plus others.

The autenthicity of Rampalion's sound is clearly shown in songs like  My generation, Roots and ¨Crisis¨ a collaboration that was recorded in Jamaica's Anchor studio with the Firehouse Crew, Bongo Herman & Everol Wray, true iconic figures within jamaica's rich musical heritage. 
Currently on tour with support slots for The Wailers and an appearance at Europe's biggest Reggae festival Rototom Sunsplash,  Rampalion are also in the studio putting the finishing touches to their new album project "INSIDE THE KETE HEART" 

The band are now in rehearsals for a European tour which will start summer 2015.
