Working Title; a project in co-curation

In the postmodern world of today, the work of curators has become increasingly diverse. The job content has shifted from a simple model of guarding, keeping or acquiring a collection, to a compound model, adding the possibility of acquiring a semi celebrity status identity.

We are part of a generation that has spent their childhood growing up with an invisible third parent, the internet. We are able to discover music faster and easier than ever before. But even with all these options, an individual curator can never truly see the whole picture.

The idea for this project is simple and goes as follows;
Instead of curating artists ourselves, we will have others curate together. Our project can be seen as an exercise in joint curatorship. We have invited fourteen different collectives, labels and individuals who in their turn curated one artist.

A song that awakens longing within us,
The burning jealousy that covers us.

Yo Gabberz,
We are excited to present our latest music release!
Our dear friend and exceptional production talent CØUNTS has put in an immense amount of effort and delivered an impressive Industrial Hardcore Techno LP with a total of 8 tracks. It includes a collaboration with producer Hardez and remixes from none other than Krista Bourgeois and FLUCC.

"Phantom Frequencies" takes us on a dark journey through post-apocalyptic realms and unique cinematic machine sounds, reminiscent of a horror science fiction movie. With heavy kick drums and plenty of distortion, Cøunts skillfully shapes this futuristic sound into a framework that's perfect for an industrial hardcore dancefloor.

The remix and collaboration partners were chosen perfectly—they each capture the described soundscape and bring their own unique perspective to the release

Cøunts - Sleepless Regrets

Some sounds are lost forever. Some find their way back. These tracks were stolen from me before they could be finished Fragments of something bigger, caught between what they were and what they could have been. Music doesn’t disappear; it lingers. What remains is raw, imperfect, but alive. This album is a way to preserve what was taken and move forward. Lost, but not gone. Stolen, but still here.
