Cedrick was one of the best people I could have ever known. He was taken from this plane of existence, much too soon, in a car accident with a drunk driver.

This is the first of 2 tracks we had recorded together last year, for our untitled duo project.
I usually release tracks as they are completed, until I consider the project done. I was actually holding out on these singles until the album was done. I thought there'd be plenty of time to finish the album later. Life can be brutally ironic that way. In fact, the key lyrics he and I wrote, that haunt me, are:

Rhymer-Man (excerpt from verse 1):
"A simple tragedy can alter your plans, drastically,
Sarcastically, I'm in charge,
My ways the highway and I'm Large Marge,
And I'm hauling ass like I'm in a fast car,
Til that abrupt stop puts me thru the glass shards,
A fickle form of existence in a boundless realm of loops,
But bound by the limits of what we consider truth,
Hard to really tell when there's pudding in the proof,
Tryinta demand a quarter when we never lost a tooth."

Remember that our time amongst the land of the living is short and could end up shorter than expected at any moment. Don't take the good things in life for granted, and don't waste precious time and energy on the negatives. Ced led a happy life, according to his own standards and the betterment of others. As should we all.
