Hailing from Jalisco, Señor Vontier is one of the rising stars of Mexico’s thriving EDM scene, recently touring the world with his spicy partner & fellow DJ Sabrina, as well as Concret, with whom he has released bangers as the ‘Diyeis,’ and Thomass Jackson, his label-partner on Calypso. 

FIRE PAPI captures Iñigo's aura of madcap fun, a stylistic nexus point that amalgamates the new sound of Mexican dance music. Post-dark-disco, out-of-the-desert house, psychedelic, speed-dealing techno. These are tried & tested late-night freak-bangers.

The second of a series of remixes from Kasper Bjørke’s latest album “Puzzles” has been crafted by Kaspe Bjørke himself. “Reworking your own catalogue is always a challenge”, he says “and it’s not something I have done very often. Yet, transforming I Was There into a club track for DJs was incredibly rewarding.

On the Puzzles album, this trackmaybe stood out a bit compared to the rest of the songs - but in its remixed form, it fully embraces its club potential. “On the rework I took out the live bass and guitars and opting for a programmed kick drum while making the overall track more synth-driven. Using a 303 acid bassline and more distinct keyboard layers, I wanted to bring a new dimension to the track while preserving the raw, live energy of the original drums.”

It’s basically a tribute to the 2000’s post disco sound of New York which was and still is incredibly inspiring to me - it was a scene that has had a lasting influence on me both as a
producer and music fan, shaped by my countless trips to the city, for working
on new music, DJing and getting lost in the night life.

With Wait A Minute EP, Italian trio Joyfull Family (Chico Perulli, Guido Nemola and Cristian Carpentieri) lay down a proper slice of timeless house, laced with modern flair and proper dancefloor heat.The Original Mix of "Wait A Minute" is pure deep-house goodness – lush grooves, fat basslines and silky vocal cuts stitched together into a classy, late-night roller. A real warm-up weapon for heads who know.

Closing the EP is "The Prince" (GN Mix) – a deeper, more heads-down affair packed with hypnotic grooves and a cheeky, slinky bassline that’ll keep the afterhours crowd bubbling nicely.

In a nutshell:A rock-solid EP that tips the hat to 90s house roots while keeping the production crisp and forward-thinking.
Groove is the name of the game here, and each remix brings its own spice without losing the heart of the original. Whether you're warming up the floor or setting it ablaze, there’s plenty to pull from here.

One sided limited edition vinyl only run (300 copies) and digital due on Nov 22nd.....of the huge Radio Slave remix of Simon Baker’s "Too Slow". From Simon's forthcoming album "Traces" on 2020 Vision in 2011. This track has only been previously heard on the Ralph Lawson "We Love" mix CD. With a remix titled "Parorama Garage Mix" we should know what to expect from the offset really. A heavy, punchy kick / bass pattern that hits you just below the ribs is the glue that holds this particular beast together. Add to this discordant, ketamine influenced sounds that cause disorientation, tension and drama; on this particular example it sounds like hordes of machine-insects feasting on neon corpses. The arrangment builds slowly but continuously, in that ever-peaking fashion that the Berliners love so much. Sublime, driving, super-late night club music (don't try playing this before 4am please), and so darkly glorious with it. Micro-breakdowns and rising string parts WILL take you close to climax. Head for the smoke machine, close your eyes and enjoy the ride...
