Originally from Frankfurt, where she was deeply involved in the local music scene, she spent the past three years in Mexico, where the electronic music culture and local artists had a profound influence on her DJ sets.

DANNSEN skillfully combines a variety of genres. She mainly plays Indie Dance, Dance, Acid House, and percussive, synth-heavy house that amplifies the energy. She also feels right at home with Melodic House/Techno, often choosing tracks with deep basslines that create dark, powerful sets.

Not only does she blend genres, but she also shifts the mood to match the venue, creating an experience that’s both energetic and mesmerizing. Her sets guide the audience on a journey—whether it’s playful, uplifting, sexy, trippy, strange, dark, or sometimes all of those elements at once.

We are happy to present you a very special set today. Our little story begins with our highlight of the festival season. As we unfortunately couldn't be at Fusion in person again this year, we listened relaxed to the live recordings on soundcloud. Like every year, some of the sets stood out and some of the artists came into our focus. One of these recordings is from the "Sonnendeck" on Thursday morning. This set immediately captivated us with its groove and the heavy bounce stayed with us for days. We are happy that Katzenohr wanted to record such an energetic set for our series too. And what can we say, she really delivered. We hope you enjoy this set as much as we do!

Marc DePulse (JEAHMON! / Diynamic/ Exe Audio)

Leipzig/Germany based artist Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse is taking Electronic Music into a new level with the experience of 25 years in the business. Starting to produce his own music in the 1990s Marc went through a long journey to develop his signature sound with his typical handscript. Whoever shed some tears while listening to music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a catching melody, a guitar bassline, rolling percussions or strong vocals. DePulse has already connected a lot of that love with his music. Either the music is for the dancefloor or for the heart. And that's what Marc wants to tell us with his releases and podcasts: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head.
Marc has established as a unique DJ by performing on the biggest international stages, DJing in over 40 countries worldwide. His productions lead him to be the best selling artist in Indie Dance music (Top #1 artist on Beatport in 2023).
After appearances on major labels such as Diynamic, Einmusika, Katermukke, SINCOPAT or Parquet (in total over 500+ releases in the past 2 decades) Marc was releasing his third artist album "Together Alone" on Katermukke in 2022.
In addition to his own productions, Marc is running the hyped imprint JEAHMON! Records and also invites his favorite artists and friends on his platform “How I Met The Bass” which is a storyteller project that became a big brand over the last decade.
