Als gebürtiger Kieler ist Sharif aka RENT mittlerweile in Frankfurt zuhause und hat dort gemeinsame mit seinem Kollektiv Hand aufs Herz einige kreative und musikalische Projekte am Laufen, die in der Frankfurter Szene großen Anklang finden.  
Musikalisch bewegt sich RENT gerne im Bereich Minimal-Techno, Psy-Tech/Techno bis hin zu Industrial Peak-Time Techno. Melodische Klänge & sphärische Elemente mit packenden Basslines zu verbinden, ist das was RENT musikalisch berührt. und das, was er stets in seine Sets überträgt. 
Seinen ersten offiziellen Gig hatte RENT im Jahr 2019 auf dem Electronic Brunch im Café Koz. Von dort an folgten regelmäßige Auftritte im Kultclub Pracht sowie auf  Open Airs & Raves, die in der Pandemie-Zeit stattfinden konnten. Zu den Highlights gehörten dieses Jahr der Dune Rave in Darmstadt und das Waldfrieden Mini-Festival bei Osnabrück.

When I started listening to electronic music I was 17 years old. I never knew what to expect and listened to typical mainstream songs, which were played on and on in radio shows.
In 2012 I moved to Berlin and started to explore the nightlife scene. I ended up loving and listening mostly to Melodic Techno, Minimal, Tech House and Techno. That taste didn't change until today. The dark vibes in combination with lyrics and a nice beat still give me goosebumps.
My desire to stand behind decks evolved slowly with the years. The final push of motivation I got when I lived in New York. Friends told me If I'm that interested in playing music I should start doing and teach myself.
 
In 2017 I moved back to Berlin and finally bought my first Dj equipment. After a few months of teaching myself, I could celebrate my first gig in a small night club in Berlin, which evolved into several afterwards. Later on I had the chance to travel a few months around South East Asia, which had a huge impact on me. I played a few shows in 3 different countries which includes Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. I met inspiring people who motivated me to take a step forward.
Nowadays I started to look into music production and put a lot of effort into the online market. I host a podcast show which launched very successfully with Djs from around the world. Therefore I met a lot of great people in the electronic scene from different countries and played for numerous Podcast shows.
 
The music I play is my most favourite and I don't get influenced by others. I try to tell a story through sounds and emotions and give the audience/listeners the best possible experience.

Welcome to another Friday and another episode of ElectriX. This week I invited k2k to the show. He’s now based in Poland but he used to live in berlin like me. He got influenced from the rave scene and we probably have a very similar taste in music. That’s why I liked his sets as well. Btw he plays hybrid sets and I think that’s epic. Bio:
Born in the 80's.

The journey with electronic music began in 2004. From sets played with vinyl, where the first steps were taken in the techno genre, from which I moved to breakbeat.

After years of break in playing, I came back with a much wider perspective. The inspiration for my mixes and tracks comes from Berlin, where I have lived for the last few years. Current sets I often play in hybrid form, a combination of classic DJing with analog drum machine and sampling.

Most mixes take the audience on an audio journey with flowing electronic melodies from melodic techno and deep sounds from deep techno and deep house.

Nicole Gallamini: 

is a Miami-based Venezuelan DJ and fashion designer. Her interest in electronic music began the age of 14 and wanted to become a DJ when she went to her first Ultra Music Festival at the age of 15. In 2014, she started to self-taught herself how to DJ and became more passionate about music. In 2016, she moved to Miami to study fashion design and pursue her dreams as a DJ. In 2019, her career as a DJ started and haven’t stopped since.

MONKEYCIRCAST 054 with SORT SIND

KEENE is the duo formed by the brothers Lloyd and Kevin Keene, who since 2010 have become a referent for house and techno music in Panama.

The KEENE sound is clearly seductive and elegant, taking elements of Deep, House and Techno genres. That unique brotherly complicity is poured into what they do, with their combined musical and technical talents eliminating their possible weaknesses. Both are perfectionists that have found their personal way of making music, a process that is an organic as it is electronic, and you just have to see the dancing throng while they dj to understand it.

Besides managing Late Night Music’s roaster of shows in Panama, KEENE moved to Berlin to focus on their production. Currently settled their studio and headquarters at the prestigious Riverside Studios in the heart of Berlin’s creative district and started a Berlin based label called Cacao Records. In 2018 they have embarked on a new club dedicated to electronic music at a basement of an old building in Panama City’s old town
