In 2016, Pont Neuf Records was born, with the mission of supporting the emergence of a new scene of electronic artists in France. Its first release “Habemus Paname”, bringing together artists like Folamour, Tour-Maubourg and Sweely, marked the label’s first success, accompanied by a launch party in the lair of the legendary Rex Club in Paris. Since then, no less than 25 releases - EPs, compilations, albums - have forged the identity of Pont Neuf, recognized in 2019 by Mixmag as ‘‘one of the French scene’s most essential imprints’’. A success crowned by two years of residence at the Rex Club, and many participations in the major European electronic music venues (Concrete, Elrow, Sisyphos, La Cabane ...). 5 years later, the label continues to evolve, driven by the talent and originality of artists with unique personalities and eager to leave their mark on a generation.

Friendsome Records and Belaria are delighted to present to you her debut EP Boost & Doubts. After only 2 singles and a remix out to date, that launched a very promising career, the young ‘home grown’ prodigy has produced this beautiful 4 tracker to take you on a retro-minimal journey of heavy beats and melodic synth.
Oscillating between Dark-Disco, Italo and Synth-Wave, you will start and end with the 2 dancefloor oriented tracks Boost and Esteem (A1 & B2). They won’t let the crowd stand steel for sure ! In the middle of this find Rest In B (A2), a more poppy track that can remind you of good old tunes by Chloé or Peaches, as well as Burning Inside (B1) a more down tempo intimate song that could suit perfectly during your road trip in the countryside.

This is my first ever track released in October 1989 on Abfahrt Rec.
It was originally done with an Alesis MMT 8 Sequencer and a Casio FZ1 only.
Additional sounds were added from a Yamaha FB01 and an Ensoniq VFX.
