Following the success of Pitto's album "Objects In A Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear" on GREEN, we've waited excitedly and impatiently for new material from the blooming artist. With his new multi-layered single “Shadows” Pitto once again elegantly entertains our senses. The beautiful melody played by Woodie S, together with the continuous clicking pattern and synthesised bassline create a sublime piece of audio that has an almost supernatural perspective.

The introduction of vocals accentuate's the echoes of the lyrics adding another dimension to the Johannes Brecht Remix. While Edwin Oosterwal’s Dub adds further depth creating a chilled vibe by intensifying the other-worldly state of the original.

Be Svendsen gets set to release the enchanting Twilight in Tankwa on Rebellion following his successful remix of NU’s Man O To on sister label Crosstown Rebels. Remix treatment comes courtesy of Berlin native Nico Stojan. 
 
Twilight in Tankwa is a mystical and musical journey that Be Svendsen explains “is the result of decades long intimate relationship with outdoor rhythmic dance experience. The foundation of the track is rooted in a synth hook from the early 50's. The vocal, inspired by a barbershop quartet, work to give it the character of a true desert hymn."
 
The remix comes from Nico Stojan who twists a fresh melody into the original over driving undertones. Having honed his musical style as resident at the infamous Bar25 in Berlin, he has also released on labels like Highgrade, Connaisseur and Upon You records.
 
Equally alluring, second original track Scarecrow was brought about by AYAWAKE who wrote and recorded the vocals. He generously passed on to Be who honored it as the crown work of his cowboy-tech-tribute to the Ennio Morricone soundtracks of the late 60's. 
Be Svendsen aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn.

Coming up next. A Romanian producer Himbrecht returns to Natura Sonoris with his 2d EP ‘Everything / Nothing‘. The EP features 3 brand new originals, but just as deep, bouncy and melodic as before.
           With ’Witness Happiness’ the musician explores the melancholic territories creating a deep and evocative vibe. Rhythmic hooks mixed with dissipating vocal chops, smooth rolling groove and gentle chimes, they conjure up images and trigger memories. Enigmatic soundscape to get lost to some time late at night.
            The second selection ‘The Moon And The Stars’ comes in lighter, quirkier and more melodic, with skippy beats, playful blips and swirling synths. Something different yet familiar at the same time. This one won’t take long to grab a hold of you.
           The EP concludes with ‘Abandon Hope‘, another darker and heavier piece that complements the other two quite nicely. Ominous motifs, pulsating kicks, deep, bumping bass lines - its driving groove is undeniably hypnotic. Press play and you´ll see.

Multi-talented musician and producer Monolink joins Sabo's Sol Selectas Records clan this month with a splendid cut in 'Burning Sun'. The release comes stacked with an incredible ensemble of remixers, which includes Davi, Be Svendsen and Underyourskin' Just Emma. We're very excited to present the Just Emma edition in full premiere to When We Dip readers today. The German pair has crafted a simply sublime remix. Rising from the ashes, the tracks builds from a soothing intro to a chunky yet effortless groove. It rolls forth smothered in a mysterious, dreamy atmosphere, while the vocal remains centre stage. Seasoned producer and performer HRRSN strikes up a fresh slice of his vocal-driven electro melancholia, with Kid Simius, BONDI and Schlepp Geist providing a side of grade A remixes.

Crystalline sounds paired with a sweeping ambience become the perfect backdrop for HRRSN’s profuse vocals on Better Off. Airy pads float alongside affecting harmonies, creating rhythm and emotion as the track culminates into a serene resolution.

Leipzig-based Schlepp Geist applies his movie soundtrack approach to production on the remix, adding immersive textures and percussive details that bring the track to new heights. 

BONDI’s remix unveils a deep and searching tone, with added strings and glitched up patterns that reset the initial mood and put the chorus at the epicentre of the entire construction. 
Stand Tall sees HRRSN diving deeper into the wistful territory that his sound palette encapsulates so effortlessly. Sustained notes and a light synth haze come to a boil just as the vocals reach an emotive peak: “Through you I got a glimpse of this feeling called love/I’m heading home”.

Retaining the raw emotion of the vocal, Kid Simius delivers an upbeat, disco-infused bit with a meandering synth melody that settles and gradually unfurls. 

Closer Riptide provides an intense cinematic experience, with stirring piano pads bound to the artist’s crooning vocals. The track swells and reverberates, assisted by fluttering blips and taps that add to its moody suspense.

All in all, a release where HRRSN showcases maturity both as a singer and producer, with apt alternatives that make it a diverse and fulfilling assortment of soundscapes.
