Sometimes unexplainable things come to us in form of strange thoughts and feelings. We've got used to pass them by since they don't fit our vision of reality. But with time those things accumulate and it becomes harder to ignore all the confusions. This short piece full of such emotions - kind of superabundance of inconsistency of our reality. Perhaps, the thing is just that we have wrong expectations. In most cultures around the planet everything looks rather solid and immutable. When child, each of us become whether dutiful or bully, and for some reason we believe that it's for the rest of our lives, like the color of our hair.

Anyone who's into complex technologies knows that various glitches often encourage creativity. Especially, when you feel you're out of your own imagination. You can even provoke the technology to tell you something new, making it go crazy:]

This track was designed for the video. We wanted the glitches from the 3d-scene to sound, so the soundtrack is glitchy too, but these glitches we made ourselves. We always make soundtracks ourselves, so it's no big deal for us to pump it here and there. People often say us that they thought it's something wrong with their player:]

2015 was a good year for us as humanity. Triumphant closing of the Solar system early exploration era with NASA's mission 'New Horizon' and incredible explosion of brilliant new music, btw not only on Spotify - that's not so bad. When we have a lot of wonderful music, state of soul and mind gonna be great too. And when that is true, then everything else is gonna be good.

Back in the days, we, 'tonux.gix' started writing our own music because there was nothing truly worth listening :) For real, that was a good half part of our motivation. But we have also changed from then. Then we would like to be a bit like this, in some aspect, and a little like that... Now we just want to be ourselves. We express it in our music and in our greatest project - 'Nux' 3d-enviro:

Everything we know, everything we live in is a bright bubble - in dusky emptiness - we try not to think about without serious enough reason. Sometimes, though, you suddenly want to. Especially, when we feel that something out there is changing too fast. Then we happen to move towards an edge of our magnificent bubble, which we've got used to and beloved...

This self-remix is an intent to leave the bubble of our reality for a bit. Once something unknown to us before gains some sort of structure in our imagination - it becomes a part of our bubble. And this is wonderful! For this, we're ready to take risk.

When we was getting to do this mix, we asked ourselves few totally crazy questions (as we usually do at 'tonux.gix'). For instance: is life possible beyond our own life form? For finding out this, we can go somewhere where there are none of us yet, and somewhere we're not there anymore. For example, late heavy bombardment era, or when the Sun is going to turn into a red giant.

This way, we, most likely are not going to make academic scientific discoveries, but we provide our neurons a great opportunity to warm up. And dusky emptiness will look a little more bright. So, we invite you to experience these things with us. Meeting magnificent creatures, dancing, trying to understand each other, and a sense of us all being parts of the whole - all is waiting there.

Sometimes it seems that there's no point in thinking about something, that doesn't have a straightforward application in our day to day life. But the sense of day to day life gets lost sometimes too:) So maybe it's good if all of a sudden there's a desire to get somewhere a little higher. Just to see everything from above, and try to orient yourself somehow. While doing that, interesting new possibilities might even jump into sight...

We are surprized with what we made. This music helps new neuron connections to form. Of course it doesn't influence physically (or with some chemical substances), like dietary supplements, steroids for muscles or fat fighters for losing weight. It just gives various controversial issues. It always was inherent for art. But this function of it was forgotten, art also has a lot of other loads...

We simply were making musical accompaniment for video with our biggest project - 3d virtual enviro. You can glance once at those video to understand that there can't be any "usual" music:) And as we already engaged in experimental music, it was quite naturally to do something own. The new style haven't appeared at once. We have showed whole seria of such videos on our other channel. There you can see how it all formed. We was making a 3d-material and tried to explore there... drove, flew, jumped... Then we thought, evaluated, discussed. And continued. Those video is a screencapture from initial scenes. We just captured our fun there.

At the beginning we thought that it's going to be just a 3d material - homes, some roads and a landscapes. At the start it was like that, and we still make all there with ourselves, and on the starts it took all our free time. But soon there began to arise different controversial issues. For example: what we going to do there? Or: What is happening with us, we start to recognize these streets like those, where we really were... Besides that we started to get interested with different new ideas in the field of design, architecture and technologies. Of course, at the beginning we just wanted to fill our environment with fine things. But the things that started to reveal surprized us much. We seemed to see nothing special. We didn't see some special ultra-modern forms of houses or vehicles. Those things didn't shock, not the objects, not the result, but the way in which they will appear. For example, subjects of future won't be produced at the factories, but will be 'printed' on the desktop 3d-printers. Molecule by molecule, as 2d pictures are printed pixel by pixel now. Homes will just grow themselves. And creating of that all - things of that real reality will substantially resemble a creating of virtual reality...

Telling about us - tonux.gix is a mixed team. We gradually make our 3d-enviro and other projects. Music will wonderfully complement a virtual environment when we'll share it. Today music by itself can't be popular as previously. Great artist, Andy Warhol long time ago said these words about 15 minutes of popularity... That's why we gradually do it all from different sides - network projects and artistical ones. We will get our chance when we join all together. At the moment we just enjoy the process:) It doesn't matter what we do, it is always some artistic search for us. We spend our time in this way - we don't play someone's provided game, just play doing own game (https://nuxproject.blogspot.com/), if it possible to say like this... 

This channel looks poor... We almost don't give attention to it because that gigantic project - this 3d world takes a lot of time. Music isn't the main what we want to do in our lives. But still we can make not bad sounds. We feel free with most powerful creative software and we use ardour, muse and oth. as pure data or supercollider. Not all of them are available for ordinary windows-users... We even experiment with interactive non-linear music, it's when musical piece doesn't exist as a linear soundtrack. It's music, which changes in dependence of who and how listens it, so there's never no single outcome.
