ENG: Quadri was born as a reworking of the original piano version of Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Musorgskij. It stands apart from both Ravel’s celebrated orchestration and the “historic” Symphonic Prog version by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. I worked on Musorgskij’s thematic materials, recomposing them into a new structure — a mini-suite that alternates reconstruction, orchestration, and authentic fragments.
At certain points, I also included a quotation from A Night on Bald Mountain, as a symbolic echo of Musorgskij’s most visionary side. The result is neither a transcription nor a mere orchestration, but a structural reinterpretation — a journey through the sonic memory of the work itself.
The SIAE officially recognized its semi-original nature, classifying it among the creative derivative works and allowing me to sign it as Musorgskij – Carnevale.

ITA: Quadri nasce come rielaborazione della versione originale per pianoforte solo di Quadri di un’esposizione di Modest Musorgskij. Diversa sia dalla celebre orchestrazione di Ravel, sia dalla “storica” versione Symphonic Prog degli Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Ho lavorato sui materiali tematici originali, ricomponendoli in una nuova struttura: una mini-suite che alterna ricomposizione, orchestrazione e frammenti autentici. Ho inserito anche una citazione da Una notte sul Monte Calvo, come richiamo simbolico al lato più visionario di Musorgskij. Il risultato non è una trascrizione né una semplice orchestrazione, ma una reinterpretazione strutturale — un viaggio nella memoria sonora dell’opera. La SIAE ne ha riconosciuto la natura semi-originale, collocandola tra le opere derivate di carattere creativo e permettendomi di firmare l’opera come Musorgskij – Carnevale.

The Power of Freedom is an excerpt from Dreaming a Human Symphony, a Symphonic Rock Opera that I wrote and realized as a single, unified work, involving around eighty singers and musicians.
Dreaming a Human Symphony was conceived as an integral opera, not as a collection of standalone tracks.

For this reason, this excerpt is shared as a conscious preview — an invitation to enter a wider artistic and human journey whose full meaning can only emerge through the complete listening of the work.
“Dreaming a human symphony:
the dream as aspiration,
as something imagined and meant to be realized,
as a utopia to be pursued,
even knowing it might never be fulfilled.”
This project was born as a choral and inclusive experience.
I involved artists with very different backgrounds and levels of experience — from internationally known musicians to participants of the ANORA formative laboratories I direct — without distinctions of status or notoriety.
The opera was originally conceived for the theatre.
I wrote two different theatrical screenplays, in order to adapt the work to different performative contexts.
The emotional and narrative thread connecting all the pieces moves between dream and wakefulness, set against a broader reflection on human difference and encounter.
The musical flow follows a path of inner transformation: from an initial state of uncertainty and restless energy, through encounter and listening, towards a final convergence where all voices and differences merge into a shared choral space.
Among the guest voices taking part in this journey is Francesco Di Giacomo, whose presence becomes part of this collective human chorus.
“Where does this journey wish to lead?
To finding a place in the world where, through meaningful human relationships,
it is possible to simply be oneself.”
This excerpt does not aim to replace the work as a whole.
It simply offers a direction.

I’m a composer, songwriter, arranger, orchestrator, orchestra & choir conductor, music producer, mentor, writer, and researcher.
My work moves freely across different forms of expression — from Progressive Rock and Modern Symphony to Classical Piano, Songwriting, and Cinematic Music.
Over the years, I’ve shared projects with remarkable artists — including collaborations with Francesco Di Giacomo and Rodolfo Maltese of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso — and composed original scores for film, television, and symphonic productions that have reached international audiences.
As a mentor and educator, I’ve created the ANORA method, together with formative paths and musical laboratories exploring music as a uniquely human language — expressive, relational, and representative of inner experience.
In my poetic vision, sound itself becomes an image — a mental landscape that connects the composer’s inner vision with the listener’s imagination.
Each work blends tradition and innovation through orchestral writing, progressive structures, and storytelling soundscapes.
Every “side” of my music reflects a different perspective — all parts of the same creative vision.
