This song is dedicated to military personnel, first responders, and the nurses/doctors working the COVID-19 cases.  I recognize that they risk their lives each time they respond to their duties, and the families are equally impacted by the ensuing risks.  I wrote this song with perspective from my father, who was in law enforcement. 

In the song, a man (military officer/first responder/doctor/nurse) is working far from home, and is writing a letter to his wife about how much he misses her and how he will be home with time permitting.  Even though he has no idea what will happen, he makes this promise with hopes that his wife will be able to sleep at night.
