39 year old Tony Waters aka Mr Slim hailing from Portsmouth UK, fell in love with hard house at the young age of 14 which lead to him hosting a lot of house parties. 

The biggest influences that forged his obsession with the sound he loves today are heavy hitters such as Paul Glazby, BK, Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes. 

His DJ career started quite a few years back starting out with vinyl. Honing his skills on a friend's set of Numark TT01’s and from there he went on to buy his very own Citronic PD2 turntables and a Vestax mixer. 

Tony’s confidence started to grow as he started playing at parties for and family and friends.

Tony then took some time out to focus on other things but couldn’t shake the itch to start mixing again and this is when he decided to buy his first digital set up the rest was history.  

Moving on to digital was a wise choice  as it opened many doors although he will tell you the wheels of steel hold a very special space in his heart. 

Even to this day Tony’s main genre is hard house/NRG but he can also mix a multitude of different genres but most of all freshest hard dance. 

At present he holds residencies with Hard Therapy, Wanted Underground Sounds, Visceral Records as well as appearing on Fort Radio. Most recently he has had the opportunity to play to the world via online events including AMPED NZ and a few different radio stations but nothing quite beats the live environment. 

Theres hope for the future in hard dance music and Tony will always be here to witness it 😉🎶💯🎧🎼
