[Premiere] Sideswipe - Treated Me

The twelfth Iberian Juke's EP 'Sol', comes from long time friend and collaborator Sideswipe on March 26th. 
  
Originally from the UK and actually based in Philadelphia, Stewart Roberts has been exploring the soulful side of 160 BPM music.  
With a high influence from his homeland, he's a vinyl enthusiast and has loads of Drum & Bass and Bass music gems. Along with his love for Black music, both influences had shaped his approach when making music, finding in Footwork and Juke a comfortable way to express himself.  
  
The EP is composed by 4 songs with a total predominance of women vocals. Sampling classics from RnB and Soul music like Deborah Cox's 'It's Over Now' or Gladys Knight's 'If I Was Your Woman', Sideswipe has made 4 cuts with an ideal style both to encourage the morning on the way to work, and to incite the most melancholic on the dance floor. 
  
As a founding member of 'Forbidden Trax' label and originator of the 'OneSixty Philly' parties, he has produced a slew of remixes and edits of artists like Nphonix & Dope DOD, Alicia Keys or Kenny Ken & DRS. 
He also released three EPs, most recently on UK label Modern Ruin, followed by the collaborative album “With a Little Help From My Friends” on Iberian Juke in April 2017.

Al Zanders approach to his first EP of 2018 and the first release on Undaground Therapy Muzik, Roy Davis Jr.'s label, in nearly 20 years is as precise as it is whimsical. 

Featuring 4 tracks showing Zanders sheer versatility when it comes to making music, and an insight into the journey his DJ sets often take. The closing track "Guidance" is a reflective track Dand a chance for the EP to close as well as it would close a dance floor when the lights come on at the end of the night.
