Even though Tonya was born and raised in a small town in upstate NY, she had big dreams of singing and performing outside the realms of her hometown.

At the young age of 4, Tonya started singing in a full gospel church. Music was ever present in her home as well. Country and Christian genres enveloped her four walls daily.

"There isn't any limit to one's accomplishments if they have the will and raw desire" she says.

After realizing that music was one of her main goals, Tonya joined a band in 2008. There, she sang lead vocals, and covered artists such as Pat Benatar, Cindy Lauper, and even Sugarland. Her voice defies the boundaries and limitations of many genres, and she truly sings from the soul.

In 2009, Tonya lost her husband to suicide, and was suddenly a single mom with struggles, but also an artist with a dream. She decided to retire from the band, go to Nashville, and record her first demo. 'Singing is always what I wanted to do. Up until my husband passed, I was content with where I was at with my singing career. After he passed away, I realized that life is too short to live with any regrets, and that is when I made the conscious choice to purse my dream.', she said.

Tonya's new CD, Already Broken, has been scheduled for release in July/2011. She chose songs with country roots that speak from the heart about love, loss, moving forward, and staying strong.

She defeated struggles from her past, and now, Tonya Hall has a bright future ahead of her.
