Hey, getting out of the ROTN character again; need to talk about the state of this account and some of my alts.

First off, not like most people cared, but I was behind bb86 (https://soundcloud.com/aotk86). Originally I was gonna keep it as a secret lil thing, but the reason why I'm saying this is cause of what I'm about to say.

I still love hyperflip; its a genre that I'm not really gonna truly separate from. But what is happening is that I'm not getting happy with how I'm treating my production of it. I've been getting way more scared of how people think of me because of this, to the point where I'm extremely sensitive to criticism that's fairly milquetoast, and I'm starting to run out of juice to keep up my hyperflip alts and whatnot. Despite what I said before, trying to return to a more classic hyperflip hasn't been helping me.

And on top of this, I am *still* struggling with getting attention to my Bandcamp page. I originally didn't care about how people first knew me as ROTN, but it is a bit infuriating to me that its my most popular thing and that it hasn't really translated to anywhere else; if I'm being frank, I'm kinda feeling like I'm in a Jane Remover/leroy situation. I want to show that I am capable of making things that aren't hyperflip, or at the very least aren't what everyone else is doing, and just, IDK, I don't really know how to continue doing it with hyperflip.

I'm also starting to not have as big of a musical output as I once did when starting all of this; on top of college getting in the way, I'm also trying to put into progress a plan to move out of my current state (North Carolina), so that's also been taking up my mind.

Its with this and a heavy heart that I'm gonna have to discontinue the ROTN project and its related aliases. I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do with the other aliases, but I know I have to start fresh. I'll try to share wherever I can of the new place I'll be at, but yeah. As per usual, my Bandcamp (https://galvanisticyoungboy.bandcamp.com/) will still be here, no matter what I do.

Debut EP from the digitally-based group "Webpage 505," a playful, genre-bending indie electronica collection that takes listeners into the intricacies and intimacies of the queer Internet.
A culmination of packets sent back-and-forth from 2021-2025 featuring the likes of @Ambynt-Music, @AloeveriaMusic, @AlowOfficial, @Catstem, and @AlexKMasse. Artwork drawn by Dwotadog (bsky.app/profile/dwotadog.bsky.social).

Webpage 505 began in the compilations of GOOP HOUSE, a charity organization, with the recording of "Bubblegum" in 2021, a sugar-sweet debut that highlighted each member's strengths. Later that year, Ambynt hosted "505FEST", a livestreamed online festival with performances from @SelfDiscoveryBand, @Terratyp3, @Gardial, @greypng, @outercosm, @lilyintheforest, @x-x-x-girl, @shwirlll, and all Webpage 505 members.
The following year, "Blue Light" was featured on @GOOPHOUSE's seventh compilation album, a poppy, pensive track about being queer online. 2023 brought about "Snow/Melt," the group's first independent track, a genre-bending winter love song featuring cover art by Memorisleep--and behind the scenes, a larger release fell into place, reflecting the group's artistic journey across nearly half a decade.
Rerecording and remastering their older material, Webpage 505 finalized their first full length project, "Navigator," teaming up with visual artist Dwotadog. The release marks the end of an important chapter in each member's careers, with promising futures ahead.
