T.Byrd - Triple Double

T. Byrd, born Anthony R. Byrd, is an aspiring Christian Hip-hop artist from Toledo, Ohio. Anthony's musical interest date back as early as Elementary School where he designated himself as the beatbox boy. I mean come on what traditional rapper today didn't start off in the traditional lunch table rap session?

It wasn't until his junior year of high school that he met fellow rapper Toby Jacobi. Together they started off freestyling on popular instrumentals but soon it became the pathway that led to a calling. In the beginning he went as Tone BLeezy and released a self-produced mixtape titled Bizzaro Land. Realizing that God called him for a greater purpose, he reverted to the name T. Byrd and started using his talents for Kingdom growth.

Partnering with Toby they adopted the name ZazaBeatx. Their first project together, "No Turning Back",  released in 2017 has accumulated over 12,000 plays and set them up to have six performances in the last year including Promenade Park and the Hollywood Casino in Toledo.

T. Byrd's style of Music could be known as alternative Christian hip-hop. Some of his influences include Andre 3000, Lupe Fiasco, and Lecrae. He has a similar sound to artist like Andy Mineo, Wordsplayed, and Derek Minor. T. Byrd is currently working on his debut album Faith-Based and an EP titled So Close: To The Light. Now T. Byrd's mission is simple. He plans to procure the lost, the misguided, and the self-righteous and lead them to follow Jesus and discover God's will for their lives.
