Time Of Your Life

A little song about a coal mine fire that's been burning underground in Pennsylvania since the 60s and what will happen if we continue to treat our earth this way. 

Lyrics:
I’ve seen hell with my own two eyes,
I found him in “Centralia” 
He dressed up as folk in disguise 
and lurked through pennsylvania
The reeking carbon gas he held 
smothered our heaving lungs 
But our fingers were the ones that cradled 
The flaring match he struck 

I’ve seen hell with my own two eyes 
His landfills touched the clouds 
We helped him stuff the toxic trash 
In our workplace underground
He promised it would clean the air 
then filled it with black smoke 
The dump ablaze, town unaware
our coal mines scorched below

He shoved me out my door 
Handed me an eviction surprise, 
then Tangoed with the fire horn.
the antsy flames soon grew wild 
His cackle echoed through our cries
