Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas is back with a stunning organic house release by Ayala (IT), which also features invigorating Afro house remixes by Djeff and Jaykill.

Ayala (IT) is a Sol Selectas regular who is back on the imprint with his second solo release after also featuring on three of Sol Selectas' Summer Sol compilations. The talented Italian artist had also featured his music on other record labels such as Rebirth, MoBlack and Lump Records. This enchanting release is another fine example of his style which is a fusion of vibrant percussion, emotive vocals and heartfelt melodies.

On remix duty, Djeff is a revered Afro house producer from Portugal, but has African heritage that inspires his Afro house style. With love of flowing percussion and organic sounds, his immersive style has been a feature of prestigious record labels ranging from Watergate to his own Kazukuta.

Second of the remixes comes from Jaykill, who's a French artist making his debut on Sol Selectas following releases on other respected imprints such as Cosmic Awakenings and Shango Records. He is an extremely talented musician and producer who is well-known for his majestic re-edits and atmospheric style of downtempo house.

Alongside the two magnificent remixes, there are two versions of the solo original track that have both been produced by Ayala (IT).

"Njambi" featuring Nes Mburu is the original track on this release, and it's got tinkling percussion and shuffling rhythms layered with poignant piano chords and a deep bassline. Unfolding with intricate precision, it's got soothing vocals by Nes Mburu that are both captivating and cinematic. It's a magnificent piece of music that's got an uplifting vibe. There is also an Alt Mix that's been produced by Ayala (IT) too, which is an upbeat version that has tense strings and additional percussion with tribal influence.

Djeff's remix of Njambi builds a new backing track for the original's vocals with dramatic synth stabs, new pads and beefed-up percussion. Jaykill's remix is a refined version that's true to the original, but with downbeat percussion rhythms that are characteristic to the Afro house sound.

The artwork by Helia Jamali portrays the romance deep in the jungles of Africa.

Sabo’s record label, Sol Selectas presents an organic house EP with Beleric influence by German Brigante.

German Brigante is back on Sol Selectas with his third EP for the label, and it’s a four-track release that blends flamenco influences with majestic synths and flowing percussion. 

Based in Spain, German Brigante has been releasing electronic music for over a decade, and his sound has evolved throughout the course of his career. His classic releases have been on labels such as Get Physical, but in recent times he has featured melodic tracks on imprints such as Monaberry and Bar 25. German Brigante also heads up his own respected record label called Manitox.

Following years of DJ experience where German Brigante has travelled the world to play gigs everywhere from Australia to America, he is able to translate his innate knowledge of what works on a dancefloor into the invigorating sound of his music productions.

“Acido Azul” opens the release with an old-school acid house bassline, which is overlayered with bubbling synths and uplifting Spanish vocals that create an enchanting vibe. The upbeat percussion rhythms and subtle bursts of flamenco guitar add to its feel-good vibe. 

“Açai” has a thickset bassline that lays a foundation for a finger-picked flamenco guitar and a fluttering flute that adds to the track’s sun-drenched sound. 

“Será el Flamenco” has a deep bassline and emotive Spanish vocals that give the track an epic sound that’s augmented by its powerful melodies and samba-style percussion. 

“Inquietud” closes out the release with its downtempo groove and acid bassline. Sweeping strings and sensual vocals combine with a mesmerising flute and alluring guitar that adds to the track’s seductive sound.

The artwork by Helia Jamali shows the passion of a Flamenco dancer lost in the rhythms of the Andalusian skies.

TELASSI is a Lebanese-born producer currently based in Egypt, that started his music career as a multi-instrumentalist performer, later on taking an interest in what the Electronic music genres have to offer. His musical journey encompasses his love for constantly discovering new sounds, and for curating experiences for diverse audiences, while blending electronic and analogue sounds. His main focus is on merging different elements in order to express musically the sound of feelings in his compositions. his musical influences range from the diverse realms of, Organic House & Afro House.

Tony L Issac is an Egyptian artist in the electronic music genre. He started his career in the early 2000’s in Cairo but was soon playing all over the country including the North Coast, Sharm El Sheikh and El Gouna. He was fortunate to become the resident and music director of Tabla at a fairly young age, allowing him to learn a lot about the event production business. Through this position, he was able to play regularly in Dubai and Beirut, eventually moving to Dubai full-time. 

With this taste of the international scene, he set his sights on the global stage. He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and started his own production company, Massar LA. He has successfully produced Massar shows in the deserts of LA, Cairo, and Misahualli, Equador. 

Tony is a sought after DJ in LA and abroad, playing in esteemed venues like Do Not Sit in Miami, Komma in Paris and Habitas in Tulum. He had also had the honor of playing at festivals such as Burning Man and The Monastery Mexico by The Gardens of Babylon. He is a mainstay at Members, a deep house institution in Los Angeles.

Tony is newly signed to Sol Selectas and is now expanding his music production resume. He stays true to his roots with Arabic instruments and vocals prevalent in his work. Tony is known for his soulful and deep sets, taking listeners on a journey.
