DJ Tony – Bio

Tony’s journey into music began in 1995, introduced to DJing by a close group of friends immersed in R&B and Hip Hop. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a true passion. In 2004, while working as a porter at a downtown Auckland nightclub, Tony discovered House music—igniting a deeper connection to the craft and setting him on a new path.

Determined to grow, Tony spent the next few years refining his sound and building experience. His dedication paid off in 2008 when he won the Select DJ Competition, solidifying his place as one of Auckland’s most promising talents. Since then, he’s held residencies at some of the city’s premier nightclubs, playing alongside top-tier local acts and international names like Vandalism, Klaas, and Mobin Master.

Known for his versatility and professionalism, Tony can adapt to any vibe—whether it’s a packed club, a corporate event, a wedding, birthday, or a media gig. His sets are consistently energetic, polished, and tailored to the crowd.

Now expanding into music production, Tony has started reworking classic Kiwi tracks, blending nostalgic local flavor with fresh beats to keep dancefloors moving across Auckland.
