Born and raised in Southeast D.C., Tony Redz also known as Mr. 24/7, enrolled in many high schools in the District, but ultimately received his diploma from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. After graduation, Tony enrolled in college at Howard Community College for acting. From there, he completed one year at University of D.C., and nearly two years at Howard University.

His passion for music led him to perform in local go-go bands including Optimistic Tribe, Pure Elegance, Elevation Band, All In One and legendary bands Backyard, Raw Image and currently performs with TCB. In addition to go-go, gospel music has always been a love for TonyRedz as he played the drums at Springfield Baptist Church, Metropolitan Baptist Church, and St. John's Power Christian Center.

In 1997, Tony Redz a.k.a. Mr. 24/7 began his career in radio at Radio One's WKYS 93.9 FM. From there, Tony made the transition into CBS Radio's WPGC 95.5 FM in 2000.

In 2003, he landed a management deal with Violator Records while being apart of the group, Foundation, which took him on a 30-city tour. The Seagram's Gin Live tour also featured Jaheim, Truth Hurts, Biz Markie and R&B heartthrob group, Jagged Edge.

Tony's success in the entertainment industry has allowed him to host over one thousand concerts as well as guest appear on BET's 106 & Park, guest host on TV One's News One Now with Roland Martin mutiple times, and take part in the BET Experience red carpet in Los Angeles, Calif.

Throughout his entertainment career, Mr. 24/7 has interviewed actors and recording artists who include Usher, Wale, T.I., T-Pain, Trey Songz, Dru Hill, Sevyn Streeter, Tinashe, Jennifer Hudson, Tank, Diggy Simmons, Remy Ma, August Alsina, Tray Chaney of "The Wire", David Correy of "X Factor", and countless others.

Tony Redz a.k.a Mr. 24/7 impacts the youth, alongside the Should Could Dream regional high school tour, by explaining the value of education, job development, work ethic, and time management to students.

Today, Tony Redz a.k.a. Mr. 24/7 can be heard live on-air from 7 p.m.-12 midnight, Monday-Friday on WPGC 95.5FM.
