Had to hear this again, deeply moving especially the last verse.  Alzheimer's had caused him to lose his way in this life, but knew well the road to eternal life, and the Lord Jesus who took him there.  Kudos to Johnny for a profoundly felt performance of Tony's song.

Considered one of the best 100 guitarists by Rolling Stone magazine, this track is my hommage for all his great blues and slide chops. 
His roots are in jazz, and you can hear the influence of his clean-toned modal soloing in a lot of Southern rock groups. 
The guitar is a Gibson ES339.  Halfway, I introduced an acoustic Harley Benton. The track ends with a driven electric guitar, for something unexpected.

Because of the Marshal's popularity in the first installment, we thought a sequel would be fun as he embarks on another daring mission of bringing Old-West law and order to another planet where criminal mischief has broken down the rule of celestial law. Central Galactic Intelligence(CGI)received a frantic call for help that anarchists had taken over a peaceful and prosperous world and needed the Marshal to set things right.  The track begins with him and his crew (Curtis, Seagull, and David)being cleared for takeoff.
A big thank you to Curtis Gremmel(center-left in the mix) for his superb playing, Seagull @farout-music-studio for his visionary and production expertise, and Clara for being the angelic voice of CGI.

My grandma's favourite song. that's papa on guitar, me taking a turn at vocal. I also do a pretty lame job trying to strum accompaniment while dad plays the middle solo. Originally recorded around 2014 with my phone mic, I also recently (in 2024) used AI tools to isolate the vocal & guitar into separate tracks so I could better adjust the balance. happy with the result. 

This song’s got a lot of meaning in our family. About as close to a perfect country song as it gets for me.
