First time performing and recording piano. When I came up with this progression, I really connected with it. 

One of my favorite parts about writing instrumental music is that the music is what really tells the story in the absence of lyrics. The name of the song can really create imagery for the listener and guide their mind around the track. I generally name the songs that I write by closing my eyes, listening to the track a few times, and letting the music take my mind wherever it wants to go. This song made me feel sad, empty, and almost helpless in a way, hence the name. Hope you enjoy.
