This is an ode to removing the layers that blind us from the immensity of our reality. Lots of us are waking up to either ourselves or the world around us and it's not all daisies and sunshine. 

In my own journey, I discovered that integration required both the ability to grab on and let go.

If I wanted to bask in the light, I needed to uncover the lessons that awaited me in the dark.

I'm Trying

An Enlightened Mind is a call to arms, pens, minds and hearts. A blunt yet metaphoric gaze at the world we were given and a contemplation of what drives some and holds back others. 

Working through this song over the years was a great help in overcoming the illusions I held of the world and a reminder that the hero's journey only ends when we leave this plane.

The muse. They can take on many forms, show many colors and come into your life whether or not time aligns in your favor. This song is about a time where reverie lead me to question where a pattern of mine began. 

She may never know that this song is for her. She serves as a symbol of the thrill that comes with not knowing what comes next and taking the plunge when you decide to express your heart's desire. 

Hopefully my story will inspire you take in a breath, take that scary step and leap into the depths of the Crimson Vase; whether or not it's the time and place.
