MINI-INTERVIEW

What was your most significant club / festival moment?
"There were quite a few, but the most significant moment was actually this year. I was accepted into the label at "3000Grad" this year, which to this day, was an incredible happening for me. Then I also had the honor to play at the "3000Grad Festival 2021", the Saturday Closing on the Utopia stage. Through the trust of this incredibly warm-hearted crew and the whole energy of the dancing masses in the morning, I had to really fight with the tears when I then played the last track. Those were definitely tears of joy and happiness, quite an emotional moment for me. I'll still be releasing the set soon. I have waited until now because this set is especially important to me."

Who inspired you the most on your path as an artist?                                                                                                               
"There are too many good artists to name them all. The most I was through my friends, the fascination and love for electronic music. At some point I wanted to try it myself."

What do you want to express with your music?
"I am a really emotional person. At some point I started to process my experiences and emotions, whether beautiful or not so beautiful, with the music. My motto: head off, eyes closed and float away. From this arose at some point my very dreamy style. My closest friends, who know me well, often told me that the music reflects myself. Energetic forward with a softcore."

Mit 14 haben die Berliner https://soundcloud.com/thehousefrauen  gemeinsam den P-Berg und später so manchen Techno-Club unsicher gemacht. 16 Jahre später sind die Freundinnen 2021 dann selber an den Decks gelandet. Im Vordergrund steht für die Housefrauen der Spaß an der Musik und genremäßig probieren sie sich gerne immer wieder neu aus. Ein bisschen bouncy, ein bisschen prollig und zum Mitgrölen. Die beiden spielen nämlich nicht nur House, sondern auch Techno, Techhouse und Trance und steigern sich in ihren Sets gerne mal von 128 auf 170 BPM. Vielleicht findet man auch so manchen Hit, der das Teenage Herz wieder höherschlagen lässt. Hauptsache Spiel, Spaß, Fun (und Nebelmaschine)!

Wir freuen uns, mit diesem Mix aus der Sommerpause zu gehen. Ich hoffe, ihr hattet eine schöne Zeit und ein paar wundervolle Stunden auf dem ein oder anderen Open Air. Wir sind mega hyped auf die neue Saison!

When they were 14, the Berlin based https://soundcloud.com/thehousefrauen made the P-Berg and later techno clubs unsafe together. 16 years later, the friends ended up on the decks themselves in 2021. For the Housefrauen, the focus is on having fun with the music, and they like to try out new genres again and again. A little bit bouncy, a little bit cheeky and to bawl along to. The two don't just play house, but also techno, techhouse and trance and like to increase their sets from 128 to 170 BPM. You might even find a hit or two, that will make your teenage heart beat faster. The main thing is fun, fun, fun (and a fog machine)!

We are happy to leave the summer break with this mix. I hope you had a great time and a few enjoyable hours at one or or the other open air event. We are mega hyped for the new season!

Bio:
TooL8 (toolate) are Sven Kirchner alias Horst Koffer and Max Keck. With their live-sets these two Bergisch guys (residents of BergWacht) are a fixture of BergWacht for a long time and had their first label-signing with “Schmitzhöhe”, the debut release on BergWacht Records.
Horst and Max are tuning techno tracks since 2007 – and since the beginning of 2011 they are tuning together as TooL8. Their productions can be classed with melodic techno / techno, playful and harmonious, and often are like a pure blossoming of emotions and feelings, which they try to perform in their own manner.
They are BergWacht-Residents of the first hour since 2008, since Spring 2019 they are Part of the Katzensprung Festival own´s Agency Rooster also.

TooL8 (toolate) besteht  aus Sven Kirchner alias Horst Koffer und Max Keck,  Die beiden bergischen Jungs (BergWacht-Residents) gehören mit ihren Live-Sets schon lange zum BergWacht-Inventar und haben nun ihr erstes Label-Signing mit „Schmitzhöhe“ dem Debüt-Release auf  BergWacht Records.
Horst und Max schrauben seit 2007 an Techno Tracks und seit Anfang 2011 zusammen als TooL8. 
Was sie produzieren ist in Melodic Techno / Techno einzuordnen, verspielt, harmonievoll und ist oft ein reines Aufblühen von Emotionen und Gefühlen, die, die Zwei, auf ihre eigene Art und Weise versuchen wiederzugeben.
