Synopsis:
Our final release of the year features a label debut from New Zealand’s dirty boy Riksta. with one hell of a beast of a track. Savage is a word that springs to mind upon listening to this weapon, it features a real poppy kick with a rolling bassline, in your face percussion, frightening whispery vocals with dark atmospheric sounds that set the stage for a real gnarly lead that teases you with its little interjections, until it unfolds the rest of its riff and carries us into the breakdown where we hear a haunting siren and some more of those haunting vocals. The lead comes in strong and proud with elongated stabs and then builds toward a menacing kickback that is relentless and introduces a new sinister hoover alongside its girthiness, this plays out until we hear those haunting sirens and vocals feature again, as the track lulls to allow the way through for another build where a heavily modulated ferocious lead comes to finish the track off! Absolute mustard work from our Kiwi brother, and what a debut on the label. This is exactly the type of Hard House we love here at Hammerheads!!

Synopsis:
We kickstart the new year as we ended the last, with another label debut from a Kiwi brother! Patterson has delivered us a really quirky track that takes you on a real journey here. It features a punchy kickdrum, rolling bassline, sharp percussion, abundances of synthy goodness with bubbling acid lines and cheeky vocal samples of Bugs Bunny & Elmer Fudd that sees us through to the breakdown. Here we switch vibes and flow with the breakbeat percussion, Josh Winks’ laughter is introduced amongst some acid and synth stabs with ‘that’ infamous Transformer sound into a magnificent build where we kick back with some seriously saw heavy leads, playing energetic riffs with frequency filtered sweeps that drive onwards to the incoming acid, that sees us through into another breakdown where we hear the lead change its form and play a game of question and answer with some stabs to finish the show. Another great addition to the Hammerheads arsenal from our Kiwi brothers… “That’s all folks”

Starting out with a slightly dark edge to this track, the eerie sirens and vocals take you on a real journey through to the elevated breakdown where you really do want to throw your hands up in the air. Toolbox loves!

It features a powerful rolling bassline and offbeat hoover stabs, with snappy vocal loops and numerous filthy synths, resulting towards a naughty hoover main lead that would be deserving of any bass face on any dance floor. All of this eventuating in a misleading, calm before the storm-esque mini break that introduces a fierce and squelchy acid line for your mix out.
